It takes years to make AAA games - this isn’t a business tactic that changed over night - when Jim was talking about believing in generations and showing off trailers saying GT7 was a PS5 exclusive, these games were clearly already far in development for PS4.
Now, that being said, do I think it matters if they’re cross gen? No, not at all, HFW shows that they aren’t being held back at all. But I’d rather not be blatantly lied to.
"That's not a direct quote. Again it's not a quote its the trolls negative spin."

Facts matter. Don't talk BS.

Sony did for the above games, a couple of months ago in fact. Are you telling us the PS4 version of GT7 wasn't in development a couple of months ago? Plenty of other examples out there too via trailers & Jim Ryan's interviews.
I've been using this functionality for years and had no idea it was actually called 'My Playstation', I'd assumed it was just part of the website. Sad to see it go though, but at least the app still works and has similar functionality.
It sounds like HFW is at risk of being pushed to 2022 too:
"For Horizon, we think we are on track to release this holiday season. But that isn’t quite certain yet, and we’re working as hard as we can to confirm that to you as soon as we can."
Xbox weren't the ones out saying "we believe in generations" nor were their fans the ones claiming last-gen games hold back current-gen games.
Japan is basically just Nintendo/Switch land now. Everyone else has been squeezed out.
So the rumors were true. Not surprised with either part really, kinda expected the delay due to the rumors, and a PS4 version is not surprising at all when you compare PS5 vs PS4 numbers.
@Aarontk Yeah - Dolby must be relieved, for about 10 hours there they weren't the leaders in audio anymore.
Is that on Series X? It works fine here on my Xbox One X.
Just because you don't think its interesting or don't own an Atmos/Vision setup, doesn't mean it isn't relevant news for others.
Already debunked:

I have an Xbox and I care about Atmos and Vision.
@Atticus Still talking garbage. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about and should probably stop trying to speak from a point of authority now.
"1)Dolby has a monopoly on Sound coding. It doesn't mean Sony couldn't do better considering they work in hardware, coding and much more."
"It doesn't mean Sony couldn't do better" You didn't say Sony 'could' do better, you said they ARE better - which th...
@Atticus More garbage.
1. Dolby are MUCH more known and associated with premium quality audio than Sony. Dolby is the first brand people think of when they think of surround sound and premium audio. Not Sony. It's like Google and searching.
2. " Dolby which doesn't do half of what Sony does." But the PS5 solution requires headphones... Dolby supports headphones and speakers... so clearly Sony is the one that doesn't do half of what D...
Depends on your situation. You pay a small one time license fee for headphones, speakers do not have a fee. Some headphones may include a license. Windows Sonic is free for everyone.
My god what a complete load of garbage.
Xbox has had Atmos support since before the PS5 audio solution was even close to being out. Years in advance.
Also, better engineered? The PS5 solution is only available to those who game with headphones on…
What has that got to do with Dolby Atmos or Vision?
Also who the hell is buying Blu-ray’s in 2021.
Means nothing if your source isn’t producing Atmos / Vision output.
Ah yes, pushsquare, the Xbox fanboy news site /s
