@SourOG That will literally never happen. T2 is valued at 25-30bn typically while Sony is 125bn. They don’t have that kinda spare cash sitting around, nor are they about to sell off a third of Sony or blow all their reserves.
Heck, even MS wouldn’t spend that kinda cash on T2.
I agree though that BS needs a revival and a strong set of sales.
You reap what you sow.
Still hurts a little that we didn’t get Ep3… and the “leaked” plans for it sounded like a great finale to the HL2 story arc.
@Cockney Beats not having any show like PS…
Also pretty sure he meant it would be headlining the MS conference - there isn’t an all up E3 event/show.
Someone needs to tell him that 2D artists don’t work on gameplay…
Nice. Hyped to see more Halo at E3. Hopefully we get an MP beta.
Yawn, old news. Gold has been nothing but an MP sub for a while (PS+ arguably so too).
Just get Game Pass Ultimate - you won’t be disappointed.
That’s kinda cool that your library has games, ours has none - which country? Or state if in the US.
Hyped for this - now we just need keyboard support and a Typing of the Dead mode.
I dunno. I have a certain nostalgia for Blockbuster for sure - I used to get so excited to go there as a kid and see which new games they had - but GamePass has an infinitely better and bigger selection of games than my local Blockbuster ever had - and I don’t have to wait on others returning the disks or even leave my home.
I’d be inclined to agree. I was hesitant to jump on board with the Switch after being burned by the WiiU - but it’s shaped up to be a good console with a strong catalog of games, both 1st and 3rd party - and while I only use it in docked mode, being able to play them portably is a win for those who care about portability.
Seems unlikely the map will actually be a 1:1 mapping - but it’s going to be bigger for sure!
We got a Kinect 2 too :p
A $299 accessory is expensive. A games console is a fully functional system that is standalone - not an add on for another device.
$499 is already a lot for a lot of people, adding on another $299 is out with a lot of people’s affordable price points.
So yea, $299 is expensive for most people.
It’s not “doomed” but it will also never be mainstream, and it can likely continue to exist as it’s own niche market without needing to become mainstream
Sorry, but what are you even talking about?
This is a great program to get more consoles in the hands of actual gamers and not scalpers - and Sony have done the same for PS+ subscribers in the past.
I call BS. I checked their website and customer service - Neither Series X or S are in stock at Target.
PS5, XSX and XSS are unavailable at all major retailers here in the US. And sell out in minutes when coming back into stock.
@drabscorpion But by your logic Sony games are being held back either by being on PS4 or by being on PC… which I don’t agree with but you made the point about legacy hardware not me 🤷
Buying companies is normal… I guess you were really upset when Sony went and bought all their companies like Naughty Dog, Suckerpunch, insomniac etc?
Games like returnal etc are great but it’s crazy to suggest MS has no games. There will be MS games I will pick up li...
@drabscorpion But the same applies to Sony… they want their games to run on legacy PC hardware so they can get that 250+% ROI.
Heck, most of the Sony games we are getting are also coming out on PS4… which has an even slower mechanical drive and lower overall spec than most PC’s from the last 10 years.
Also you look like a clown when saying “Xbox has no games” while people are simultaneously port begging for Zenimax games on PS… they both don’t have games ...
@Thunderkitten The gap between PS and Xbox is not “growing even wider” - it is far smaller than the gap between PS4 and XB1 after the disaster that was Xbox in 2013. Facts matter.
Also why do you care who is in what position? Are you a major shareholder in Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft?
As for exclusives, I’m sure all the games Zenimax and XGS are working on will be a great catalog of games.
I will be consuming everything MS, Sony and Nintend...
