MP only game with season passes and MTX… most of the revenue will come from that so EA are probably willing to do game pass for cheap to get more people through the door and hook them on MTX and subs.
Will not be surprised at all if this is a game pass game as of Sunday.
It's not as exciting as you may think. The big threes shows (big two now) are not actually part of the official E3 event, so you only get to sit in on the conferences if you are press OR work for Sony/MS/Nintendo OR are shipping a game that is present in the presentation and high up enough in your company that they chose to send you OR you got lucky and won an invite (very limited numbers).

They should attend, it is always an interesting time of the year with a lot of hype and excitement around what we may see. Them not being there really deflates it for PS fans, even if it is fine from a business perspective.
Was it? They are premiering the gameplay at Microsoft's E3 conference. Any Game Pass announcement would be there, not in today's EA trailer reveal.

Indeed, looks extremely likely that the past rumors were accurate, even more so now that it's confirmed MP only with a focus on MTX & season passes.

No they shouldn't. There are 150-200m last-gen consoles and not even 20m next gen consoles. Simple as that.

@Profchaos Yep, probably an engine limitation rather than a PS4 hardware limitation. Plus Rockstar’s engine is pretty advanced as far as engines go.
