@Darkborn Returnal is a 1st party title though. My comment was more so aimed at 3rd parties.
@Ron_Danger Concern troll? Where in my comment did I express concern?
If I've ever expressed concern, it was genuine - I am lucky enough to be a PS5 owner (especially given how many haven't been able to get one), I always want things to improve on the platform.

@SullysCigar I expressed disappointment with 3rd party devs, and frustration with MS holding it back. Where in my comment did I express concern or downplay something?
And frankly, even if I was concerned about something on PS5, as a PS5 gamer I am allowed to be concerned about any part of the box I want to be, I don't have to pretend something is perfect - nothing is perfect.
@ColtPSSX I agree there are some decent implementations, it's just nothi...
So far I’ve been a little disappointed by how poorly most titles are utilizing the DualSense.
The tech itself is great but no game even comes remotely close to Astros playroom so far - and some games are really lacking in that department - like DS and BF2042 beta.
We’ll likely see it show up best in Sony exclusives until MS gets on board with similar haptics and triggers etc.
I’ve said it a lot lately, but the games industry is going strong. Congrats to the big 3 on their strong performance, while going on 3 completely different paths.
It’s almost like revenue can come from streams other than hardware sales!
Again, unless you are an Activision shareholder, Call of Duty sales do not make your evening fun.
Halo beta was a lot more fun than the COD beta was, BF beta was more fun also but to a lesser extent.
Where did I say Halo or BF would outsell COD? I didn't. Selling lots does not make a game good, by that logic the copy paste COD games are the best games ever.
I don't play a game and enjoy it because it sold a lot of units - I'm a gamer, not an Activision shareholder.
Based on the beta, no amount of exclusive benefits can make this a good game.
This year it's: Halo > BF > COD
If it beats a game out on metacritic score, genre is irrelevant - it still is apparently a better game.
Stoked to try this out. Playground always delivers and the previews are sounding overwhelmingly positive.
Visually the game looks insane too.
“ they really have the open world racer on lock this year since no other open racer will release the rest of this year”
Which open world racer is launching next year that’s going to beat FH?
The Forza games have been the top rated racing games for a long time.
Heck, based on the previews, this game will likely be one of the highest scored games this year if not the highest - so they’re racing to the finish line in 1st place against all ...
This is probably also true for Sony, Nintendo, EA, Activision and any other big company… nothingburger.
Won’t somebody think of the virtual animals 😱🤡
Looking forward to playing this more after the beta - I also loved L4D!
But I’ll be playing on PC, mouse and keyboard are king in FPS.
@Chev I never said it was all her fault, but clearly, in such a high up role with some degree of control over the business and creative directions of a project - some blame has to land on her.
I work as an engineer, which she was one day, yes - before going over to the creative side. But as stated, engineers don’t set the direction on anything on the creative or business side. If she was just a programmer on those games then it wouldn’t have been up to her anyway and she’d ...
@Nacho_Z Yes, I sunk hundreds of dollars into difficult to find consoles I don't intend on using, same reason I own a PS4, same reason I spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on PS5 games. I'm thinking of buying a Lambo next since I'm apparently made of money 😂
@13sentinel Microsoft owns them, ergo it's made by Microsoft - which part of my statement is incorrect?
MS and Sony have both bought a lot of studios. It's normal business for a corporation.
@Army You are buying a license for the game, not really a disk, and there's no guarantees of what, if any, content being on the disk at all. As long as it gives you the license, Ubisoft have fulfilled their side of the deal.
@Alex Agreed, if you have bad internet, modern day gaming sucks. But that's the world we live in nowadays, games are regularly too big for disks and have been since the PS4 and XB1. Plus a lot of the time Day 0 releases are pretty broken, if not...
@Monkey I’ve shared multiple pictures of my PS5 on here before, complete with date and my username in the picture.
For example: https://ibb.co/J2Nb4SN
It’s no secret that I game on PS4 and 5.
"Starting in November" sounds like it will be a recurring thing, PS+ just became even more of a great deal - especially if you own a PSVR or intend to buy a PSVR2.
