Not really, gamepass has day 1 releases from 1st and 3rd party.
I don't think it's been 'months of disappointment' - PS+ is stronger than XBL Gold every month.
I think what they need to do is simply have a GamePass competitor - and that likely would be a separate thing from PS+

Congrats to Nintendo, 33 months is an insane run - and ironically Switch OLED is probably what caused them to lose the crown.
Because I’d love to be playing a KZ and/or GT game on my PS5 this holiday - and there’s not much I’m excited for on my PS5 this holiday - granted we’ve already had a banger year, so can’t really complain.
I also prefer gaming on my console and big TV from a couch rather than my PC for most games.
I’d have to agree, they basically slap the Tom Clancy branding on any old garbage nowadays.
The modern games don’t even remotely come close to the original Splinter Cell, R6 and Ghost Recon games.
So where are our official ones to purchase? The white ones are ugly and I doubt they made the removable sides just for the SSD enclosure.

I'd disagree with you that Returnal is better than Deathloop, and I'd also say Destruction Allstars isn't an example of a good game (especially since it's in the low 60's, and if it was good, we wouldn't have gotten it for free...)
But I do agree that PS5 launched with a great line-up while Xbox Series didn't, although holiday is looking pretty bare on PS5 - I will admit I'm pretty jealous that XSX gamers are getting Halo and Forza back to ba...

If anything, the editors review seems more trustworthy than a public facing poll given you can't stop people voting multiple times etc...
I primarily game on PS5 but I can see why some people prefer the Series X - Microsoft has done a lot to improve since the Xbox One debacle.

Looking forward to this - and really glad to read that we can expect GTA5 style controls & aiming - aiming was always terrible in the earlier GTA games.
I'm not a huge fan of remasters, but It would be nice to be able to play MP 1 through 3 on a modern console.

@Petebloodyonion Exactly. And even then, if we REALLY wanted those 360 games, you can likely buy them on the store digitally for <= $20, or on eBay for a couple of bucks.
I've played most of the native & upgraded games available on PS5 today.
And I know it's the beginning of the gen, as I said above, it'll likely get better as the gen goes on.
Yep this is a great move, and honestly, they didn't really need to add any more value to PS+, PS+ has been completely destroying Xbox's Games With Gold for a long time now. I can't even remember the last month where GWG had something that got me excited or felt like I was getting my moneys worth.
So this is just extra icing on top.
I highly doubt FH5 will be the 'best game ever' - there are far better games, like the original MGS, SH2 etc.
@ColtPSSX I agree. I'd just like to see 3rd parties do more - and I think they will in the future. And if we do see MS release haptics anytime soon, it wouldn't surprise me if it's locked behind buying an Elite Series 3 and not part of the standard controller.
They'd still have to deal with the problem that they've sold millions of consoles without the haptic-enabled controller too, even if it did come to the 'base' controller.
PSNow is not Game Pass. Not even close.
Where did I mention Sony releasing games on other platforms? I didn’t. Just because they make a subscription service doesn’t mean said service has to be available on non-Sony devices.
Cloud gaming and content subscription services are two very different things. MS only cares about PC / GamePass for PC because of Windows really.
