i think i'm done with gaming if this is what "the world" is saying. the wii is a bore, and the xbox is chintzy and seems like an experience better suited to teens.
The last page of OPM UK review: "visually it's so far ahead of anything else out there it shatters your expectations. If this is what developers can do when they don't have to think about Xbox as well, then let's never go back to dual platform development again."

weren't their comments just opinions?
i've actually never played co-op. i hope the game isn't knocked for not having it. if it does everything else well, it should get boosted by a solid multi-player.
As reported above, this site gave GTA IV a 3/5, and Gears of War 2 a 4/5. The site looks like a general media site like Variety, and we all know how credible Variety's reviews are. If the worst we do is better than GTA IV, and as good as GoW 2, then i'm more than optimistic.
well for my money, the trophies indeed count for something. it makes me take care during play, and with a game so detailed, that care will be rewarded.
how long was Heavenly Sword? i remember it getting knocked pretty heavy in reviews for being short.
what's a dekko?
I believe the cover art is shown on the last page of the booklet he photographed.
Didn't GameDaily publish their score "predictions" for 2009? They predicted that they'd give KZ2 an 8. I hope they're not setting targets.
Thanks HowarthNJ. Makes sense and I thought about that. 1 MB seemed a little big for a key and a little small for a level pack.
Great interview. Glad their happy with the sales...they deserve to have a success.
are the levels substantial? i don't understand why the levels weigh in at 1.04 MB, the same as each individual costume. that sounds a bit light to me.
or use a semi-colon incorrectly, or use a.k.a. when they meant to use i.e., or commit any number of other grammatical errors.
my beta invite came friday. there isn't much to do beyond customizing your character, but the environments are great and the potential is there.
i said in another post that i'm excited to have friends and relatives in my "apartment" voice chatting with our characters and launching a game, but I'm the only one I know that's in the beta.
my one beef is that every time i go in the damn bowling alley, there isn't a free lane or open pool table. come on...ca...
The beta is super limited, but I can see some cool things happening with Home...especially having friends in your apartment and doing voice chat with it.
Character customization is like mii on steroids. My girlfriend spent an hour trying to get herself right, which is just as entertaining as on the wii...except you can't make an Admiral Ackbar.
if selling 2-3 million is the guide to quality gaming, you must consider the Wii and its huge library of instant classics the pinnacle of technical and creative achievement.
It's not a negative article, just a dumb one.
"Come on guys, at least get the first game onto the damned shelves." It's out the door as far as MM is concerned, unless the writer thinks the staff literally drives the trucks to area Bestbuys to unload their goods. I think it's great they already have an idea for a sequel... LittleBigPlanet 64?
xbox and sony fans are like yin and yang. obnoxious in equal but opposite measures.
As for specs...I don't know what they promised you personally, but per the box it plays blu-ray discs in 1080p, which look amazing. it plays games that look great and i enjoy. it was cheap and a snap to pop in a 320GB hard drive and make it a full-bore media center with a slick, professional interface (xbox blades is to xmb what windows is to mac osx). it has plenty of movies for download off o...
