I played it on NES. far and away the coolest game at the time. i didn't play MGS until #3. didn't rattle my memory or make the connection about its roots until i saw the original box cover on N4G. oh the flood of memories! oh i'm so frickin old!
nice to hear, but no need to hate on GTA IV. that game is epic. if snake pulls me in like nico, i'd say they're both quadruple-A.

He says the 1st half is brilliant (A+) but the 2nd half is too much cinema and it breaks up and frustrates the play.
He makes a reasonable argument that a story arch that's all about individual choice shouldn't funnel into an experience that makes you a helpless spectator.

To me PSN is a list of servers in Warhawk or COD4. They work flawlessly. Soon will come in-game messaging. What else defines a solid network?

things got awkward when she picked it up early for you without realizing the mistake. it was especially embarrassing that she went for the gonorrhea bundle.
i think the guy nails it as well as you can with half the titles still being of unknown quality.
my only quibble is i wouldn't rate Gears 2 odds so high. maybe more like 5:1.

I would love to play with the flying carriers they were working on when they were doing campaign development. Wonder why they didn't upgrade the multiplayer with capital ships. Guess the maps aren't big enough.
@1.1 the MGO trailer wrapped with the beta looks great, if that's what you mean. I'm still trying to get past the "Start Game" screen after being prompted to update the beta I'd just downloaded. oy, it's a lot of work.
here's hoping the map is better than the omega dawn map. i just can't get into that one.
was wondering what was up with the randomization. get stuck on an overmatched team where you're the only one willing to fly, and you're stuck getting hammered by a small swarm of warhawks map after map.
