...and don't forget the software drought. 2 games in 4 months (SSBB and No More Heroes). boooo!
whoah. not so super sharp sharpee.
is he wearing mascara?
maybe, but not so awesome that they changed the trajectory of the whole storyline in MGS2 based on one gametester's complaints that the character is too old (if that's true).
too much to play. i wanna play the core game and move on to other games. i never bought expansion packs for PC games, either.
suck it, Ballmer.
I'm confused... who came up with God of War? What was Jaffe's role here? Barlog seems to be taking an awful lot of credit for the ENTIRE series. Maybe he deserves it, but there's barely any mention of Jaffe. Who made who? He's getting a bit of an ego. And not in a funny way, like Jaffe.
^^^^ another reason why i hate MS tactics...try accessing an MS site with Safari (MSNBC, hotmail...) they totally c@ck block Safari. shady tactics, MS...
i like jaffe, but I'm not sure about his business acumen. he's already ditched his business plan for eat-sleep-play. he hinted that calling all cars was a big mistake. too bad, it's fine for the price.
They said in their blog that it'll seat 6, with each having a pop-out hatch, like on the tank.
I think all the pirates with grenade launchers and panama hats were white. I did note that they broke the trend of making the "mentor" character some other flavor. Like maybe Morgan Freeman as "Sully." That's all there could've been with a white main character. You can't make his romantic lead black...then you've got that whole plantation owner thing going on.
I like the Josh Whedon dialog. It's got a blue-collar charm to it. Also, I was gonna point out...
Just look at the metacritic rating... 11 reviews, all above *90* with an average of *94*. if the game length is an issue...i.e., if it wasn't suitably balanced with holy sh!t moments, than the game would be scored down.
Look at Heavenly Sword. There were some lovely things about that game, but the reviewers scored it way down because of its short playing time.
how do people manage to act incredulous when bringing up Sony copying Microsoft? Jesus, Joseph and Mary, the biggest thing Sony is copying is Microsoft's business model of copying its competitors. Microsoft gets one or two decent original ideas and suddenly they're your virgin mother that invented everything good about the industry.
edit: whoops! that was meant to be a reply to some comment...not a random rant. <red faced>
"I don't like PS3's sloppy Software side of the console seems rushed like the 360's hardware."
I'd say piece-meal or incomplete, but certainly NOT sloppy. The PSN store is inelegant, but not sloppy. Sloppy implies it breaks or has confusing, inconsistent, pointless design choices. The PSN store is sparce, not sloppy. The XMB interface is certainly slick, tight and very comfortable.
My assessment would be they got the basics the way they wanted it, and a...
"It blinks green, then yellow, then continuously red." ... or so the old villagers say. course, we just think those stories are made up to scare the young-uns, cuz none of us have actually ever seen such a thing. it's what they call an urban legend.
yes, but you won't get the *crunch* after three. 360 owners are a resilient bunch, unlike the wise tootsie-roll pop owl.
poorly written article. yay, blu-ray, but boo editor. "i can haz blu-ray" would've been better grammar.
it's "san francisco bay bridge", not "san francisco bridge." but yeah, great setting for some destruction. killer carnage and killer views.
If my wife looked like Jaffe's wife, I'd want to spend more time at home, too.
never trust a man with a woman's name.
