the beta is intense. i finally dropped in last night and promptly finished 8 out of 8 in coop multiplayer. it was cool, though.
I picked it up on ebay. Even if it's not a reviewer's cup-of-tea, I can't see any way to not heap praise on it. The only problem I have other than the non-engaging story (it's not really about the story anyway) is the foreground to background movement. that can be frustrating.

i had trouble seeing anything without switching vision. i'd like to be able to more distinctly see the monsters in normal mode.

but Sony doesn't pervasively infest any staple markets. microsoft has an iron grip on 97% of the global desktop operating system market. in June the worldwide estimate of PCs was just passed 1 billion, making Microsoft's share of eyeball pairs around 974 million. that seems a little more dangerous than a rootkit on a CD, as bad an idea as that is.

If the article had been titled "Why you shouldn't complain about Sony doing X" where X is delaying something for a few weeks, or not clarifying if something is CG or gameplay, there would be so many comments slamming Sony. Mobs would be roaming the streets with pitchforks and torches.
i like the styling of No More Heroes, but can't get past the first three numbers. It just feel dead, and the graphics are blah.
