Nice to see Okami get some love. Fallout 3...hmmm, i don't know about top 10. i'd put Demon's Souls above Fallout 3, metacritic score be dammed. DS had that intangible quality that Shadow of the Colossus had, though they're vastly different. Maybe it's a japanese thing.
Wii games:
131 games get Green (generally favorable)
442 games get yellow or red (mixed or universally disliked)
Would be great if the software could automatically convert PS3 generated tracks to PSP playable tracks so we don't have to double up on track making.
This thread's probably dead, but I can never understand why anyone could be an xbox fanboy at all, purely because of the frightening prospect of Microsoft owning the entire game.
Sony could be just as bad if the PS3 launch is any indication, but Microsoft is such a juggernaut that they just can just buy an industry and then neglect it. The 360 line-up is awesome, but I think that teet would dry up pretty darn fast if MS owned the world. It would be time for them to start milki...
when i was in engineering school i changed my tactics my sophomore year and i'd stop studying a few days before exams and just play video games. my grades shot through the roof. i'd go into exams not burned out on the subjects and my neurons would be firing like crazy.
couldn't do it in law school. there're no shortcuts around reading 100 pages of case law every single day.
does your dad own stock in Microsoft, or something? you sound so happy. weird.
I really liked repairing gun mounts and hopping on them in KZ2. Rolling objectives are fun, too. But it seems like a distant memory. Everyone is playing MW2 now, so there isn't really much of a choice.
really? that would explain my terrible k/d ratio. i was too busy rushing to point A or point B or point C to camp.
@Bordello1900: try circling the cauldron on the platform in the middle. it'll usually shield you from a rear attack, and you have a better chance of not getting knocked off a ledge.
It also helps to have a massive weapon like Northern Regalia to get in as many licks as possible before the 2nd appears (but i guess that's obvious).
i sank. my k/d ratio is atrocious. it was fun, though. did the beta end last night?
how about a vid for pure bladestone farming. it's pure b.s., and driving me cuhraaaazy.
Anyone else having trouble finding Marrowstone chunks? I kill all the red bugs and mosquitos I can find, and still no joy.
My personal GOTY too. Made me happy and surprised to see this. The more love DS gets the more sales, and the more sales the better the chance of DS2. What other game could keep me happy as a clam to play through 3 times to get all of the trophies? None other.
chrisulloa, are you giving a seminar on how to be a d!ck?
I like it, too. Made a pretty sweet level, and it was a snap. I'm disappointed that they don't unlock more of the objects for the beta. It's a pretty limited list.
If Starhawk were truly targeted for 2010, that would be my #1 right there.
Thanks for the link. I think I'm going to get my nephew the GOTY edition and swipe the beta code.
And...heck yeah I care about sales! If they sell it, more will come. If they don't..... that's why I keep hoping Demon's Souls keeps chugging along. I want DS 2.
I was really looking forward to this game and it's decent, but the puzzles are not challenging in the slightest. I would've preferred more complicated switchings and chemistry (mixing up the elements) to reveal hidden doors and such. It's just way too easy. The only challenge is maybe the horseshoe crab/baboon butt/millipede boss.
Hugely successful? I wish. I really do...it's a great game, but it hasn't had the sales that I'd hoped it would. That being said, I'm excited for this DLC...I just wish I could get my hands on the ModNation Racers beta key in the GOTY edition.
holy fcuk! let it be so!
