ugh. takes too long to get into the site. can anyone post what weekend they're doing this?
holy hesus that looks good.
WipeOut is a better choice than Super Stardust.
Eden is a better choice than Monsters.
Bioshock didn't wow me. It's solid, but the environments and scale are limited. Maybe an excursion into the sea in a pod? Would've been cool.
Ratchet is a little high.
I'd play LBP way more if i could install and play it off the HD.
Killzone still wows me.
Uncharted is King. #1.
Maybe "Braid"? I'll bet that's it. I'd rather it was L4D.
how does it compare to warhawk...other than being fps.
the game just looks terrible, period.
but 1up gave it an A-. I love their opening sentence "It's kind of a cliché in BDSM circles that the sub is really the one in charge of things, and it's a truism that easily carries over into Overlord 2."
@4.4 I'm enjoying it more now that i've spent some time with it. Yeah, i know you can mute, but it comes on at the start of each match and you have to mute again. plus, it'd be nice to hear people coordinating.
i don't know. the Uncharted 2 beta is making my eyes hurt with all the saturation. i like KZ's color palette.
i'm going back through on elite, and this game is hard as h3ll. way harder than Uncharted on crushing.
wasn't it a success? 2 million copies @ $60 is $120 million by my math. if it made anything over the budget, then GG's developers get to keep putting food on their tables and doing what they love. i'm sure they're pretty happy.
maps feel a little claustrophobic for me. would prefer more than 5 on 5. maybe i'm just complaining because my k/d ratio sucks....and i'm not used to so much color saturation in a game.
btw, why do players insist on broadcasting their sh*tty taste in music over their headsets? and must we hear your kids in the background? really not necessary. the terms and conditions for the multi-player should include agreeing not to broadcast your crappy music or crappy kids. /end rant.
are cnet polls as accurate as Metacritic user ratings?
i wrote the same thing in the open zone. this guys is the biggest MS cheerleader.
I don't think Don Reisinger has written an objective article yet. Whether there's truth in what he wrote or not, he's such a cheerleader for team green, i can't take anything he writes seriously. Look up his other columns.
I'm more interested in Kotaku's positive take on Natal vis-a-vis Burnout Paradise and negative take on Natal vis-a-vis the Breakout game.
yeah, i like it. played through the first sewer section to get touch skills.
BUT, graphically it's like a buttah girl. nice body, everything's good buttah face. the animations are awful. after replaying through uncharted, it's painful to watch (except for the reavers...they look pretty cool). BUT, the mechanics are fun, and you do start to feel pretty bada$$ when you can jump off of buildings and land with a rippling shockwave of electricity.
the demo had an awful lot of pop-in and was a little glitching (Cole shifted up and through a cab at one point). does the full game look more polished?
yeah, my ps3 is the only thing other than the tv that's stayed plugged in. just got the platinum trophy in Uncharted and am dying to play the Among Thieves beta.
i can't figure out WHAT the buzz is about. being the "hippest" of my friends, this should be right up my alley.
maybe it gets good, but i stopped cruising the empty streets once i got sick of picking up coconuts for cash.
are people disagreeing that sony needs to catch up in America, or that it would be a great exclusive for them? both seem to be facts, as i look at the vgchartz. confusing.
damm! this would have been a great NA exclusive. sony needs to catch up here in the states.
Microsoft is relatively new to first party publishing or console gaming? I don't get it.
MS Flight Simulator was one of the most successful "games" back in the day (i.e., 1982). And what about "Age of Empires"? That's been around since 1997. If by new you mean to consoles, they're on their 2nd, and Sony is on their 3rd (if you don't count the PSP).
thanks!
