Each colossus is a puzzle. You need to discover their weakspots and figure out a way to access them, often times dealing with gravity and the motion of the colossus.
I liked SoTC when you came upon the colossi, but getting around the environment with that chuggy frame rate wore me down. I'd love for that to be fixed.
I'm very disappointed by the lack of blood. Insanely frustrating that they took it out. I still have to get it, though.
Woah. Strong review. They loved it.
F*** ya! my austin brother. I'm buying.
Hook em' from San Francisco. Go horns.
I loved this dam game on the NES. I hope it holds up to my memories of it.
this quote was good "Once you increase the installed base you cannot say, OK we're not going to do any more games for the hardcore gamer. You lose them, you lose the whole foundation."
"they wouldn’t have to compromise between Blu-ray/Home/built-in web browser and Xbox Live/Halo/Gears"
EDIT:
"they wouldn't have to compromise between Blu-ray/Killzone 2/MSG4/LBP and Xbox Live/Halo/Gears"
@Godmars... i thought it was a pretty good joke.
looks awesome, which makes me sad there's not a second analog stick. would be so much better with a 2nd analog stick.
my building is in the background of picture 12. i'm so close...yet so far.
if you'd like to trade economies, that'd be find by me. i'd love to be able to afford a european vacation, but with the exchange rates flip flopped, i'm dodging italian tourists out here in San Fran.
(btw, judging by the anti-Palin comments, I am glowing with pride at the gaming community...a way smarter lot than average)
@5.5
it was sarcasm. obama is brilliant. i totally agree with you. he misspoke, if he said it at all. he's from the f'ing 50th state: hawaii...you can bet he knew it was the 50th and last state to be admitted. duh.
@5.3
i get you *wink*...that idiot constitutional professor who was the president of the Harvard Law Review and graduated from Columbia before writing 2 best selling memoirs. hehe. 57 states. moron.
i didn't make my law school's law review, but at least i know there're 50 states! take that, dumbass president!
makes you want to rethink the whole democracy thing, doesn't it?
america is teetering on the edge of idiocracy.
they gushed all over it. they don't mention the -1 point. not that score is the be all, end all, but i'd still like to know how they write that the game could well be among the best of 2009 and give it a "9". details!
whoops! i'm a little late to respond. for all of you cut-and-pasting the TM and copyright claims, remember that these things are alienable, which means if they sign a contract with MS saying that MS has been assigned the TM and copyrights, then MS owns them by assignment.
but, maybe you're right that it's only for 2 games. if so, good. i would love to see GW3 on PS3.
Sony didn't publish Metal Gear or Final Fantasy and did not own the rights to the IP. Microsoft published Gears and owns the rights to the IP.
There's nothing more to say. It'll never happen. Save your keystrokes.
are they even acknowledged by Metacritic?
