Not really though. People talked about how this or that was a little better on the PS4 vs. Xbox One but outside that this is a lot different. People like this talk about it like it's some revolutionary step in technological progression that's going to forever change gaming because it does special stuff no other console can dream of doing...give me a break. I'm beginning to think that MS has deals with some of these people for some of these games. This game, the new Assassin's Creed...all talking about how amazing the Xbox One X is as if they have a "stake" in it. Why do they care that much? This is my feeling exactly. I have no issue with MS making the XB1X...I have an issue with the fact that they spent money and time on it instead of GAMES which is what they've been lacking most for being a GAMING console manufacturer.
Or even dumber moves like the Minecraft buyout. At 2 billion+ they could have created, paid for, and released SEVERAL AAA level games to help boost the MS catalog...

Most Steam Machines shipped with Steam OS which was garbage and very limited in use and game compatibility and those that ran Windows were often underpowered for the starting ~$500 price tag at the time for most of them.
I feel like with Ryzen and the 1050Ti and similar that...for the money...they'd probably do a lot better now.
I don't really get why all these publishers are bragging about the XB1X as if they have a stake in it. How about you focus more on the market share that will generate the most revenue (by far) instead of a very niche console from a already much smaller user base.
