I love how people disagree even though the goddamn article itself says they were picture hanging on the wall. Somehow stating facts on this site get's you downvoted because you're right.
So far it seems at least 5 people (this number keeps going up LOL!) don't know what concept art is either.
Reveals new cars, tracks, and locations? Does the author here not know what "concept art" is? These pictures don't mean jack squat for the time being until we actually see what's in the game.
Come on now...
My biggest one is MGSV. Being a fan of the series since the PS1 days (I'm old enough that I actually played the game when it came out forever ago) I thought the new one was a let down in nearly every aspect.
Gone were the deep characters and their interactions with one another (like Snake that speaks a collective paragraph the entire game). Gone is the heavy story that drives the game. Gone is the compassion I have for what's going on. Hell, I didn't even really k...
Mad Max was awesome. And based on the scores on Metacritic and Steam I'd say that your in the VAST minority. Have you even played it? Probably not.
A little out of the norm but I think Mad Max is my GOTY. We don't all have to follow the Witcher 3/MGSV/Fallout 4 line! ;-)
I get what you're saying but the same could be said about the Infiltrator demo by Epic. I'm sure if we got to actually look around there'd be PLENTY of corners cut to achieve those graphics.
With the Order though it's actually pretty surprising how good the graphics are. Sure corners are cut but it's not that dramatic. You can tell this when in photo mode and you can actually move around the environment. In fact, I'd say if anything, I'm very im...
Yeah, sarcasm fail. You forgot the "/s" part. Remember, this is the internet, everything is serious unless noted otherwise.
I don't really get this. There are plenty of games that I would consider graphically as good if not better. I mean, really, there's a ton of games that look incredible.
The Order 1886
Drive Club
Uncharted 4
Until Dawn
Unity/Syndicate
Crysis 3 (Crysis 1 to a degree?)
Among many other's I'm sure. Yeah, I don't know what the author of this article is really talking about.
It's PCGamer so I'm pretty sure it's only PC versions of the games. Also, considering they're all 4K or higher solidifies this.
I think people are calling this trash because it is. Now that's not me saying that the person who made it is trash or anything but even compared to some of the worst 2600 games out there this is lacking nearly everything. There's no sound effects, there's no music, there's no goal or moving enemies that can even harm you.
It's basically a buggy map with nothing to do and a character that...sort of...moves around it. I know the hardware isn't at all i...
And you do? I love how when stuff like this comes out everyone is all of a sudden some Atari 2600 programming master!!! What do you know about it?
Yes, to the untrained eye this doesn't look at all impressive and that's because it really isn't. Sure it takes a lot to make something like this given the hardware but that doesn't take away from the fact that it still looks pretty horrible. Atari 2600 games, on average, look 100x better than this in every aspec...
States fact, gets down voted. Seems about right for N4G...
It's true. Atheism is a stance on a single question, "Does a god or gods exist?".
If your answer to that is "No, I don't think so." then you are an atheist. THAT'S IT! There is no rules or dogmas to go with atheism.
While I was a bit disappointed by MGS 5 and it's lack of being heavily story driven like all the other Metal Gears (and, yes, the lack of David Hayter) I will say that he's extremely good at what he does and I can't wait to see what else he comes out with. MGS1 was a MASTERPIECE and I don't think I'll ever re-live an experience like that again. Especially the Mantis fight...never had anything make me go "WTF" so much. Especially considering my TV at the time had ...
Yeah, titles jacked just from a spelling perspective.
"What does his talent have to do with the platform upon which he projects his creativity?"
Because if it's only going to sell a few thousand units due to the amount of Vita users that actually care about his games then the amount of money and time that can be devoted towards the project would stifle possible technilogical and creative processes.
So it has nothing to do with being a dolt or casual but more to do with it not being a very finan...
You know what makes the game fun for me and my friends?
We don't sit there and play it for hours on end every day all day days in a row.
We play for a couple hours, have fun, move on to something else and play again the next day or the day after. It's called "not burning yourself out on something".
Simple. Also, like EDMIX said if you bought the game and dislike the amount of content or anything about it, really, then ...
DayZ SA should be promoted to Late Access.
While I'd LIKE to give them the benefit of the doubt, it is still alpha/beta, but yeah...it's been two years now. Didn't even take them that long to make the mod. Stuff like the upgraded renderer/engine where being talked about like a year ago and still nothing has happened. Last I played a few months back zombies could STILL run through everything and just...yeah...my faith has been slowly but surely dwindling. Like you said, a lot of talk with seemingly very little walk.
Can "articles" like this be taken out back and shot? I mean, goddamn, unless this bonehead has some financial stake in Sony or something then what the shit difference does it make how the Vita is doing in the market? Does it effect you negatively somehow in your day to day life? Did it smack your woman or kill your child? No? Well then drop it and quit wasting your time. I hate to be "that guy" but for real, get a life.
Sony is still making them. Games ...
