Still need to learn more about the rumblings sticks and triggers for the Xbox One controller.
But I love the little changes they made for the DS4. Hopefully, they made the sticks more sensitive, as there was a little dead area around the center.
@b-real: First impressions are everything. I'm sure Microsoft saw and studied Sony's ps4 reveal of what fans say they did right or wrong...and implemented none of those notes.
Edit: Well, they did one better than Sony. They showed the box (it's still ugly).
The one way I can summarize the angst best? They revealed their new gaming console with gaming not at the forefront.
You sound like you own a 360. I do too, and I was majorly disapp...
@Jek: You've got to admit that Microsoft did itself no favors with that muddled reveal.
Everything so far has been "you can/you can't/you can/you might/let me back to you".
Is Microsoft going to be giving them away for free?
What's even more amazing is the fact that they saw Sony's reveal, pushed theirs back, had time to polish their presentation and message, and it still came out muddled and disjointed.
Last generation, Sony was painted as the dysfunctional company that did not communicate with each other. Seems the roles have switched.
A plus in what has been a sea of minuses so far. Good news for Indie devs.
Yeah, an MS official will say one thing, and then they'll issue a press release or interview "elaborating" or "clarifying" the statement.
Very weird. It's like everyone's on a different page.
@C-Thunder: That is a gamble and disheartening at the same time.
So, in essesnce, they've disregarded the approximately 1/3 of their consumer base that don't connect their systems online?
?!?
I'm a 360 owner and I don't agree with you...yet.
Oh Peter. The things you say.
Yeah, why would Sony and Microsoft ignore the almost 150 million people who own a ps3 or 360?
Only on the interwebz.
Sony, Microsoft...meh. I just want to hear what the news is, regardless of which console it's announced on.
@Stragom: Maybe making/porting a game to the Wii U may be cheaper, but how much? It may be comparatively cheaper, but it's not like making games for the Wii U costs pennies to the dollar compared to other systems. We don't have the numbers.
Speaking of numbers, here are the sales numbers for EA games on the Wii U, via VGChartz:
FIFA 13 = 70,000
Mass Effect 3 = 50,000
Madden 13 = 30,000
NFS: Most Wanted = 20,000

@Jeff: While 7 was the first in the series for a lot of people, 6 was the gem. If Squeenix was to remake it, it would be an opportunity for people to play a better Final Fantasy game.
@King Kellog: Who's angry?
I don't get the unadulterated love for Final Fantasy 7. 6 was the masterpiece.
The only good thing about Bf3's co-op was practicing flying the chopper.
Only on n4g can you get the same amount of agrees and disagrees for complimenting both sides.
