So this doesn't get as much attention as Polygon's review because it is a less known site?
Just going by score conversion, 3/5 is a lower score than 7.5.
My absolute favorite line of the article:
"Both consoles can do cloud computing. Although be warned--it's all pretty much a load of rubbish either way. Hooray for marketing!"
Don't really know why you got so many disagrees.
To be fair (just playing Devil's Advocate), dude did say they're trying to drive game costs down by emulating steam.
Well, the first Mass Effect was more RPG than shooter. 2 and 3 were more shooter than RPG.
I play a lot of battlefield, and 4 of my friends on 360 have put in preorders for ps4. Microsoft...damage control...damage control...
Did you see the PLA trailer. Greater customization of soldiers.
Commander mode only available on a tablet? Dammit...
4x? Where did Sony find all that ddr5 ram? I've read and heard on podcasts that it's rumored Sony's ram production isn't up to speed yet.
But will I feel the need to get a second job to buy one?
Temporarily offering free games. Only from July til November, when the Xbox One is released.
Maybe not the casual crowd, but the "It Only Does Everything" tagline was meant for the general public. Also, I remember when it was revealed, Sony insisted on calling the ps3 an "entertainment appliance" instead of a videogame console.
Not only have Sony and Microsoft switched target audience, price points and messaging, they've also switched quotes!
If, in your opinion, Bad Company 2 is actually Bad Company 1.5, then we're in for a treat.
Bad Company 1 was okay, but rough around the edges. With part 2, DICE fixed most of what they did wrong and made a memorable multiplayer experience.
So, if Bf4 plays more like Bf3.5...I'm okay with that.
I believe Planetside 2 will fill that gap.
Have you actually read the review? His main issues were not with the violence. His issues were:
1. When AI partners would walk in front of enemies who hadn't been alerted to Joel's presence, yet still remained in their "unalert" state. It broke the immersion for him.
2. At certain points in the game, you couldn't sneak past enemies, you were forced to fight waves of bad guys. To him, it didn't jive with the tone and mechanics that had bee...
We don't even know what the design of the machine is.
That mock-up makes me think, "Red 5 standing by" for some reason...
@colinzeal: Please refer to my blogpost. You'll see they've scored Sony exclusives higher than they have Microsoft exclusives.

Oh, and the Microsoft money pays for a feature called "The Human Angle", not the whole website.
Point 5 is a stickler: You can only trade-in your game at a pre-approved retailer. Meaning, you cannot trade in your game at any brick and mortar that might accept used games.
Facepalms galore.
@gameonbro: I did not say I believe or don't believe in cloud computing. I said it was my favorite line of the article.
