C'mon Amazon. Where is the $20 credit? And why do you have to pre-order by the 13th of April to get the bonus content? Whatever it is, it's not detailed.
Call me a homer, but I'll give DICE the benefit of the doubt.
It's very difficult to convey emotion because it's hard to feel sympathetic when you're shooting random soldier after random soldier. It's why the Bad Company campaigns are so well loved because the soldiers almost acknowledge the absurdity of what is going on.
It doesn't bother me because it's mostly marketing talk. The part that bothers me is they want to convey human emotion, but it's hard to do that when you're mowing down hundreds and hundreds of guys. That's what made the Bad Company series great. The main characters (and the writers) did not take the action seriously. It was almost like a spoof.
I have a 360. Breaking a disc is my second worst fear. My worst fear is when my system freezes or the green lights take a moment longer to load. I always hold my breath that I don't see the 3 red lights.
It's become predictable that April 1st will be full of bunk announcements and information. The EGM is the first that got spread worldwide as real.
The writer does have a point. In Bf3, the recon's gadgets are solely reliant on whether his team uses them or not. Every other class allows for independent play.
So, to sum it up, bring back the recon class from Bad Company 2.
Shen Long was the best and only April Fools joke worth mentioning. There were people who claimed, long after EGM showed how they created the prank, that they had fought Shen Long.
I wonder how many quarters were lost in pursuit of him.
Controller less gaming was first on the ps2? The Sega Activator would like a word with you.
Sony has been a great gaming company, but please double check your facts before posting.
Cell shading was first done on the Dreamcast with Jet Set Radio.

I think it's more an evolution than a revolution. In my opinion, the ps1 with the introduction of 3d graphics and polygons was the evolution. The ps2, ps3 and ps4 are refinements to the formula.
I don't know if he said it in jest, but I remember Hayter saying before each recording session, he had to smoke almost half a pack to get his voice gruff enough.
This is kind of like the transition that Splinter Cell is going through with Michael Ironside getting replaced.
No, they sell it separately so when your kinect red rings, you can buy a new one.
Devs? I'm sure it was Warner who said, "We love money, make us another Batman game."
I think $399 is the magic number they need to hit. $450 might be acceptable. Anything more will cause a reduction in sales. Plus, the general buying public needs a good reason to get rid of their ps3/Xbox.
Maybe it has something to do with that streaming service they just bought? Might be trying to iron out some kinks before they reveal anything.
I'm more of a fan of Battlefield than Call of Duty, but I play both. The concern with Call of Duty is not the graphics, it's the gameplay. I prefer Battlefield because there are more variables that can determine the outcome of every single engagement compared to Call of Duty. Let's see what IW and Treyarch do to shake things up.
Giant Bomb is on the low end of the weighted scale? Huh?!? Is it because they're both owned by CBS?
I'm thinking
A. The writer had an article titled, "3 Trailers that could have been better with different music" and hastily changed it.
B. The writer quickly wrote this article after watching the Battlefield 4 trailer.
C. A or B plus fishing for hits.
It's an industry wide problem, not one that is solely Activision.
