A few discrepancies in your blog:
1. If information is correct, all Xbox One multiplayer games will have dedicated servers. So, since CoD:Ghosts is on Xbox One, it will have dedicated servers. Still awaiting Sony on word for their online multiplayer infrastructure.
2. All that info on Halo for the Xbox One...where did you get it? I just saw a teaser with Master Chief and a shawl.
3. At the beginning of a generation, the general buying publ...
@grayfoxx881: Battlefield 3 did cut into CoD sales. Activision acknowledged it.
I have to agree. I'm leaning towards a ps4, but reading the multiple "oh, a camera, cool!" comments made me think, "Is this the same forum that was mocking the Kinect?"
@Realplaya: Yes. Even though I most likely made $10 and he made $500. Flawed logic.
Say you and I sell t-shirts for a living. If I produce 1 and sell 1, but you produce 100 and sell 50, by your logic...I am more successful?
???
I agree. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I loved Infinite. It was almost academic to read on the internet and listen on podcasts all the different discussions on themes, characters, and meaning.
Looking forward to the DLC.
*Sigh*...Are we gonna see more of these for EVERY game released?
How did Mattrick rise to power? What happened to J. Allard and the other gamer centric execs at Microsoft who championed the original Xbox and the 360? All I see are suits, suits, suits.
"Dev: Wii U version of Deus Ex is 'the ultimate version'"
Ultimately, I hope it sells well.
If Microsoft wants to recover in the eyes of the hardcore, reassign Mattrick to Siberia. There, or the mail room.
Dude is damaged goods.
Nice...if the damn thing would download. I've tried several days and I always get an error message. Some free game, Microsoft.
On the Playstation side, you mean.
@EffectO: That's the problem. Publishers and console manufacturers are beholden to retail.
I agree with the first half of your post.
Not the first time it's happened and not the last.

So, I'm not saying I agreed with Microsoft's DRM policy, but what can publishers and console owners do? How can Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo move the industry forward if they are at the mercy of Gamestop?
I've read multiple stories of Gamestop limiting the number of Xbox One pre-orders. Now that Microsoft and Gamestop have changed their respective stances, let's see how things play out this coming generation.
Has anyone read the article? The title is misleading. He didn't mock Microsoft. Everything he stated was factually correct and presented in a civil manner.
@LoveOfTheGame: If only I could take away that bubble I gave. :)
Except for the fact that People Can Fly did Bulletstorm, not Epic, which Cliff worked for.
I believe it has more to do with ps4 pre-orders outnumbering Xbox One pre-orders.
@BosSSyndrome: Yes. If we use your produce/sell numbers. But if you're pricing your inventory so low, compared to cost to produce, how could you ever expect to make a profit?
A more viable example would be shirts cost 2 dollars to make but you sell them for 5. If I made 3 and sold 2, I have a profit of $4. If he made 200 shirts and sold 150 while he made a profit of $350.
The model you used made it economically unsafe to make more, to sell more...and isn&...
