I still don't get how a 74 can be seen as mixed. Only with video games is anything less than an 80 a disappointment.

Every popular online multiplayer game has issues the first week. GTA V's are on a greater scale because of how many copies they sold and how many people are trying to play GTA Online at the same time.
If you choose not to try it, that's your prerogative. But it is a great game.

It's hard to be innovative and take risks when one bad selling title or two can sink a publisher. Games are much more expensive to make than they were in the ps1 and ps2 era.

Because the next gen consoles are so similar to PCs in design that I think it eliminates the hurdle that Valve (or more directly Gabe) had with the ps3 and 360.
I believe the game will be a disappointment. I am NOT saying it will be bad, but there is no way the game can match the hype that Half Life fans have stirred up waiting for this long anticipated game.

IMO, BC2 was more of a BC1.5, but that didn't make any less fun. I'm hopping on the beta after work, so I'll have my impressions down by tonight.

I'm gonna play the Bf4 beta until it's over and then hop over to GTA Online. By that time, any bugs or online issues should be resolved.
If I buy an Xbox One, I'll keep playing with headphones like I do now. It'll negate anyone yelling, "Xbox off!"
Let's see how many angry threads on Battlelog will address this issue when Bf4 is released.
