No, the main problem they had was their in-house engines, Crystal Tools/Luminous Engine.
versusXIII was never possible on this engine, we saw that with how barebones FFXV turned out to be. They likely HAD to delay it for PS4 at some point because none of it was working.
And the 2013 vXIII/XV trailer was on the Ebony engine, a test engine. Even Nomura had trouble with Luminous which is why he scrapped Luminous for KH3 and since then has produced the game...
The only thing I can think of is they are PC-only gamers that are mad console games look and play better because they have actual developers.
The idea is to throw more and more money at it and they can get ONE exclusive that can compete but it's really sad how far they're taking it. And I'm a PC fan as well, I just don't have these delusions.
I mean I get it, PC is technically more powerful but you can't just add more money to make a ...

You can't be serious. The ENTIRE point of this is to not believe everything you read on the internet.
Square-Enix Business Division 1 have ALWAYS been the main developers on FFVIIR. What else do you think Square's main team would be working on?
CyberConnect 2 were always an assistance team and it's been stated by Square that their work didn't comply with each others'. It's no different than how He...

You realize AMD's next big update is 2019, right? Ryzen on 7nm and Navi(being our jump from GCN) on 7nm as well.
In 2020 we might not even get a serious update if any at all. The next planned upgrade is 7nm+, not 5nm or 4nm even.
I say release it in 2019 unless they've got shortages on components. Waiting could easily mean it's just more outdated at release, not that we get a jump in power.
I wasn't even thinking of that, but that's a pretty good point.
Disagrees with objectivity. You all will make up things Nomura hasn't said and refute things he has said. What parallel universe are you kids from where you get to make up your own facts? Amazing.
“So right now, it’s like I’ve been putting in 100 percent into Kingdom Hearts, 100 percent into Final Fantasy VII, 100 percent into Kingdom Hearts... just going back and forth,” he says. “It’s just like [working on] two titles is just going to be one [after Kingdom Hearts I...

PS1 came out in 1994, meaning 2019 is the 25 year anniversary. If they want to mark a significant historical moment, they might release it next year.

Nomura has said NONE of that. He's repeatedly said he's working on both FFVIIR and KH3 at the same time.
And in case you haven't realized, since moving to Unreal Engine they've made serious progress with KH3 and FFVIIR's system already looks far more complex than FFXV.
Crystal Tools/Luminous Engine were a dumpster fire, but aside from the one game they've messed up on that engine(FFvXIII/XV) they've b...
Hyping this game instead. Let's hope it gets localized.

I'm not entirely sure of that. Korea is making a way, way better Diablo than Diablo III. And Japan's version of the online phrase "LOL" actually comes from Japanese Diablo players. China has more PC gamers/culture than the west. Maybe the Asian mobile market, but they're missing out on other serious markets in Asia: Check out Lost Ark(Diablo style with some MMO features), I think you're going to like it:

What? KH3 was shorter development than RDR2 or Elder Scrolls 6.
The only thing they've messed up on worst than other companies was FFXV- likely because PS3 couldn't handle it.
And GoW 2/Spidey 2 being before FFVIIR?
>doubt
FFVIIR just isn't releasing info because KH3 is their main advertised game at the moment.
>KH3 was never delayed though- not once. It's never had a release date.
>According to Nomura he could have released it this Fall/Winter but wanted it released after the Holiday rush. Sony does the same with their games in their after-new year market. It's just better not to have games compete with the slew of rehashed shooters and Assasins Creed games.
Korean game my man. I'm thinking it's going to be localized because they have US subs on the trailer options and also say "For All RPG Fans" in English at the end of the trailer!
I don't want new fans spoiled though. I'd rather FFVII:CC were released after. (Heck, if they really wanted to, they could use the same engine from FFVIIR... Consider all the work going into it, it would be a shame if they couldn't use it for more than one title. Even back in the day FFVII/VIII/IX came out back to back because they were so similar for instance. CC could easily be a DLC episode and not take much more work than a remaster.)
Even a LOGO would have saved them. Showing nothing was better than having fans fly in from all around the nation at a PC gamer convention- the same blokes playing D1 20 years ago at 2 AM. The same reasons they're a multi-BILLION dollar company. Don't betray these people. The same ones who PAID to go to a convention. You don't use this for a Q&A panel where you put some innocent devs up to get roasted...
Diablo Immortal was worth a 15-second tweet reveal...
Nevermind, I just checked the announcement. I didn't see the slightest hint of a PC game launch, they seemed like they genuinely weren't making or allowed to make one. When asked about PC they had a pretty vacant look on their faces and their responses were so defensive it just sucked.
I thought they just dropped a trailer and that was it, but it seems quite a bit worse than that.
Fans were roasting the devs it was so cringe.
The one good sign is there are some features that resemble Lost Ark in it so hopefully it carries on to a D4 reveal next year.
I'm just hoping D4 is being worked on because there's no way I'm playing that mobile game.
Mr. Writer has lost it. Most SSDs are $500+ for 2TB EVEN in bulk. Even if we were to get the cheapest $299 model we wouldn't be getting it lower much lower than $200. Even if price were to drop over the gen we still wouldn't have a $150 component like an SSD.
You're just being a contrarian at this point, acting dumb, and borderline trolling here.
LMAO.
Acting like there isn't an expectation among fans for a better console is nonsense. If Sony comes with 8 TFLOPS, 12GB RAM, 1TB HDD for $399 many people will either move to X2 or buy one as a supplementary console.
Also if price and games sell a console I guess a Raspberry Pi is cheap and has enough games exclusive from PS and Xbox.
And yes, releasing something SO underpowered right after the Pro would make no sense at all: th...
That has more to do with Mistwalker using Unreal Engine while Square was on Crystal Tools/Luminous Engine.
TBH if Sakaguchi were still there he'd probably be forced to do the same.(not saying they shouldn't rehire him, just saying they'd likely have run into the same issue)
