-PS fans thinking we're gonna double PS4 sales at the end of the generation. AMAZING. I love PS as well but explain how that is going to happen, please.
-Xbox fans mad the ratio is going to only get worst.
Can't win for losing here.
No, it would but
1- The economy.
2- We all stream/have Blu-ray players(less casuals which increase the numbers, even if just a bit).
3- PS5 is coming.
If the economy wasn't shit we would have nearly matched PS2 though, tbh. This generation has been awesome.
Also, I hear all the time people went with Xbox and wish they would have went with Playstation. I mean chances are, many of them will buy PS5 and it will outsell X2 by ...
I kind of agree we're coming to an end because people are waiting on PS5. Most gamers don't even /know/ what PS4-Pro is and considering the economy most of us only have money for more well-planned purchases. Most base-PS4 owners who even know about the Pro are waiting on PS5 as well at this point considering how late in the gen it is.
If it launches next year it will likely have BC with upgraded games so it stays in the PS4 ecosystem and benefits from it until sup...

Doesn't matter what you have, what you're saying just isn't happening. The majority of games aren't investing in Ray-Tracing until it's mainstream. Pretty basic logic that seems to go over your head.
Madjedi. Yeah TBH Raytracing won't be truly mainstream until PS5-Pro or PS6.
Doubtful. I would be amazed though.
I mean when 8K becomes cheap I'll move to it but I think I'll be content with 4K for a long while, the next 10-12 years atleast.
I think it will change because we're getting 60fps options right now on the Pro. Not only that but the difference between 1600p and 4K for instance is far more negligible than 800p and 1080p because of the advanced upscalers we have now along with the ridiculous pixel density. We'll get something epic at say 1600p-1700p and also the 3-4x upgrade in texture detail because of the RAM update. We'll still get a massive fidelity boost even if we're moving to 60fps, or atleast ha...
With the right upscalers that will look epic on a 4K TV. 1600p60-1800p60 are some great options as well.
I didn't think the format was messy at all.
Purp
So far there's no PTW mechanics but there are special items like colored mounts that are a few $100. That's pretty fair actually because this game's budget is insane.
Kind of have a good feeling on it as most reviews of the beta say MTs are sensibly priced or if expensive, they're within reason considering the work going into it- and don't drastically affect gameplay, if at all.
Lost Ark looks ridiculous. More like Diablo 5:

This game took 4.5 years wtf. Announced in development mid 2013.
You went through your entire highschool, college, and had a kid in 5 years? Did you finish highschool in 2 years and college in 2 years as well?
long 5 years.
Sucks for you the look is intended and looks just like Pixar.
Who the hell down votes a fact?
They've been working on it. But I highly doubt it's not a cross-gen game with PS5 by now. It will certainly be interesting if they show an upgraded version with the PS5 reveal with a normal PS4 version advertised in the ahead of it in 2019 as well.
Even if MS secured Unreal Engine Sony would just end up licensing out Decima engine to Japanese devs that keep their games exclusive to PS4.
While this would impede on some games like KH3/FFVIIR's development(we wouldn't get either even started until PS5 launched, and might not get them until PS6), Sony would still have an ace up their sleeves and recover.
It certainly would be interesting to see how this would affect games though with each consol...
The biggest hint is that AMD is ready to go HAM with 7nm Ryzen/Navi and Sony has already put up commits with Ryzen.
It doesn't seem like there will be any delay there(although there could be other possible shortages/delays) and really mostly depends on when Sony wants to release it at this point.
