Super glad they moved to ARPG.
You still take turns with characters and Dissidia/KH shows there's just as much strategy in ARPG systems, in some cases, more. Luckily the battle planner for both is on FFVIIR.

That's why I said factors outside of their control can hold it back.
If they released PS5 this year with backwards compatibility and upgraded graphics for games like Death Stranding, The Last of Us II, Ghost of Tsushima, Kingdom Hearts III, Resident Evil 2, Final Fantasy VII Remake, etc, they'll essentially have the greatest launch in gaming history- bar none.
That's without even launching a "new" game that is only exclusive to PS5. I agree that PS5 should launch as soon as it's possible. I'm not sure how far alon...
I mean most people can grasp what's going on. I'm gonna have to just disagree with you on that. There's a huge fanbase that enjoys a story that's easy to grasp as you play it or stream it but hard to explain without an outline.
And writing 101/other writing classes, seriously? How pretentious can you get?
That doesn't make a story good or bad. Entirely subjective and I think sales and fanbase speak otherwise. I think the only wa...
Having something that is hard to explain doesn't make it bad writing though. You understand Heartless are created from the darkness in people's hearts- that's all there really is to it.
Do we need an allegory for everything going on? I mean we could have hate, lust, destruction, etc all be fleshed out but we already kind of have enemies for that in the series and try to keep it PG-13. Heartless are the cronies pretty much.
It would be inter...
The only issue I see is that Vega 7nm was only 35% more powerful than Vega 14nm.
Even if we apply this logic to say Xbox One X's specs at 6 TFLOPS+35%, we'll come out with around 8.1 TFLOPS for $499 not including whatever loss Sony will take for a larger HDD and increased RAM.(unsure what the TFLOPS difference is exactly obviously since it's not released- just going by their benchmarks, however, I've heard TSMC's 7nm was more like 10nm in actuality which...
Way to completely misinterpret what he said.
The point is that we enjoy it because we have things to fight for. Whether or not we're conscious of it, everyone has a reason for fighting.
It could be survival, it could be a struggle of ideals, it could be philosophical to some extent, or a combination. It could be to protect those you care about.
And when you have all of this at your disposal you can write an interesting game. It h...
IKR. The trick was just raising it a few, negligible degrees and the console was way quieter.
Hopefully they can pull the same trick with PS5, although I hope we get vapor chamber cooling so it's quieter as well.
I think these guys just can't stand worthy criticism. I mean the information is objective. This isn't getting pretentious, it's finding a simple solution. That guy whined about Xbox immediately as if this were coming from an X...
With the improvements KHIII made over 4 years I'm thinking FFVIIR is going to look insane. The first trailer looks almost nex-gen but now I'm thinking we'll be in for something much better.
UE4 allowed them to powerlevel the quality. Luminous Engine meant more and more features and plotpoints were cut as time went on...
Finally picked up Horizon and my console is back on Jet mode again. Oh well. It seemed they just needed to allow it to run a bit hotter and the sound was reduced dramatically.
This is a really good list actually.
Pokemon Let's Go is a spinoff, not a mainline title.
Whut.
They won't use the newest tech from those years?
If they didn't, PS5 would have the exact same specs as PS4. Oh god the logic...
>Downvotes wish new tech came out in 2020 that would somehow make PS5 more powerful than 2019.
Who's going to produce it, you? Amazing how disconnected and delusional some people are about this. AMD's roadmap is public. This is factual. Nothing is coming out in 2020 that would make PS5 better than 2019.
Add this to the ridiculous list of reasons of why people don't want PS5 announced in 2019.
That's 100% untrue though. We're on 7nm AGAIN in 2020. That means PS5 releasing in 2020 is exactly the same as releasing it in 2019. They don't even have an expected release date for 4nm(the next jump) because 7nm is so advanced and took technology nobody else working and readily available to produce it. Intel can't even get 10nm running, Nvidia is still on 12nm. So unless you're willing to wait until 2022+ for PS5 and think everyone else is as well, you're going ...
Bruh I own a PS4-Pro as well. Tons more are waiting on PS5.
They're all going to be PS5 titles. Like The Last of Us Remastered being cross-gen, only this time backwards compatibility will work instead so gamers don't have to buy the game twice.
x86 means games are easy to play over many consoles and they just got patents to play old games on new systems with better graphics. There's no way they're not using those patents on these PS4 games. They'll play on PS4 but look best on PS5.
This will...
They can always sell the game via PSN and there's the chance they sell upgraded texture packs as DLC.
BC definitely can work and there's still profit to be made there. Besides, Sony didn't remaster every game, only a handful.
What do you mean by choice?
x86 architecture vs PowerPC(much less the Cell) is a huge change.
Sony didn't resell every PS3 game for this reason.
The chances of it being on PS5 are high.
Yeah but is Pokemon the most full-featured?
Even back on Red and Blue we had far superior JRPGs with far more intricate battles. Pokemon won because it had 150 marketable characters, two versions to get collectors fever going, and a tie-in anime for the kids crowd.
It just so happens that none of that works for Final Fantasy and there are huge camps that want ARPG and conversely ATB.
I'm definitely of the camp appreciating the ARPG...
