Yeah FFXV was the same way. For years had jaggies but once it was released looked like the best game graphically I've ever seen. Plus KH2.8 was on Unreal Engine 4 and it's graphics were ace at release.
Anyone notice how there are 3 limit bars? I wonder if you'll be able to use 3 in a row? Or maybe certain limits will require one bar, and others two bars? I'm really interested if we can do this, kind of like Advent Children or Dissidia where you're incorporating Limits into the battle.
Huge disagree here. For one, Vita was released in 2011 and nobody would want those graphics on TV when we could just play PS4.
Secondly, in 3 years PS can make another handheld if they want as powerful as Switch but actually portable. And atleast PS has a real console with high-end graphics unlike Nintendo. I wasn't even asking for the best graphics out of Nintendo. Just a $249 regular console which would be ~3-4x as powerful for a $50 cheaper price before factoring...
@Disagrees seriously? It's very likely the game will come out 2018 or later.
Betting as well. I'm sure this game will go on into the PS5 lifespan and get resolution/fps updates as the game comes out(but still play fine on PS4). I'd guess something like 2018-2021 for the full game as it comes out.
Like we already didn't know they were solidifying a new battle system. They showed us a trailer.
Now if it were already solidified(past tense), that would mean the game was progressing, which was what I thought this article was about, but it's just autistic nonsense about the battle system being updated again. We've known that for a year now.
Not buying one. I can't support that this thing is $299 and most of that price is because of it's gimmicky features. Portability? Huge and unwieldy, 3 hour battery life. Motion controls also cost a fortune for this thing as the joycons are ridiculously expensive and unneeded.
I'd spend $299-$500 on a Nintendo console that wasn't all gimmicks and underpowered. But they haven't gotten their shit together. Should have built a regular console to get co...
If only they made good anime games lol
It's set it 2017 where you're a deportation force agent vs Mexicans and the World War that results when Mexico and the rest of the world declare war on the US for being so retarded.
Damn, we need a better studio to pick up the rest of the rights to this and help them out. Just fixing those animations would make this AAA quality.
There are no reports of it being 2.5x Wii U's power when docked, the only reports are that it's 40% of the power when undocked. Seriously wait for the specs, you're going to be disappointed.
Yeah but Nintendo games don't come out on PC. All the more reason to why they should have made a competent console. Something at around 1TFLOPS would have been $250 and really make their games shine with their art style. I think even PC gamers would be jealous of how beautiful Nintendo games could be with that kind of power.
@disagrees
Downvote all you want but I'm not buying in with those graphics. The people in Mario Odyssey looked creepy as hell and aliasing looked like a jigsaw puzzle. Art direction was on point otherwise but overall quality was really lackluster. Zelda looks like a PS2 game, and that 8-bit Square-Enix game, seriously? Xenoblade looked good but overall quality was way lower than the competition. If it were Tegra X2 I'd probably buy. That or if it were a normal...
Except different isn't always better. It's weaker than Xbox One which came out four years ago. It's really ridiculous in my opinion and have no interest in a giant handheld.
They should have just done a regular console at $249 in my opinion. They could really wow us with something near XB1's performance with their art style, not to mention a cheaper price.
That's in fact what I'm waiting on from them. So I guess their next co...
@Death
It's the exact same difference lmao
Even the 1800p to 4K from pro to scorpio is exactly the same as 900p to 1080p.
The only difference is this time the gap will be even smaller because of checkerboard rendering and pixel density. This is worst for Scorpio's case, not better. If Scorpio can't make use of that extra power nobody's going to bat an eye at the marginal difference this time around. By time Scorpio even has a c...
How in the hell is this nepotism? Did Kojima inherit something from family at Sony? It was a mutual offering. I mean if he went multiplat he wouldn't have the Decima engine and less resources at his disposal. If he went to Microsoft they would have just canceled his game. This was a business decision from two parties that made sense.
Did you even read my comment? I said DS^4G as in 4G LTE mobile online...
Personally I think Dissidia and KH have more DNA in the remake than FFXV, and hope it stays that way. FFXV was mediocre with too much running/driving/banter filled fetchquests.
The Dissidia/KH-teams know the pace the game needs to be at, and it's better they're running/helping the remake. Also, the KH-Magic system is miles ahead of FFXV and will be needed for materia usage. Lastly is Unreal Engine 4 is perfect and will cut down on loading and development times.
The only one throwing stones here is you. I simply gave my educated opinion, you tried to say mine was invalid. Get the sand out of your vagina.
Edit: Bull, show me where I got angry or disrespected his opinion. The only thing more annoying than someone trying to disrespect someone's opinion is someone like you accusing me of being angry. Seriously, shove it dude. Wrong on both counts.
I hate to play devil's advocate, but there is one thing the original does better: Use of the color black. The remake has a bunch of grey instead of black which is taking away from depth and color 'pop' in the remake(black makes colors pop more). Not to mention grey+their choice of red looks kind of brown which is so prevalent in generic action games these days. If they could just color correct it it'd look way nicer.
