Gotta agree with moldy on this one. If Xbox can cross play with PC and PS4 can cross play with PC there's no reason why Xbox and PS4 can't cross play except one party not opening their doors. Sony is beating around the bush because they don't want the Xbox community, plain and simple. They're just not going to come out and say it. Don't get me wrong, I'm Sony all the way, but credit is due where it's due for MS on this policy.
Yes, but closer to PS5's launch. As long as it has L2/R2 and a 720p or 1080p 5.2 inch screen, gets support and has backwards compatibility, I'll buy it.
-More Noctis/Luna. Seriously the rival theme in FFvXIII was perfect, they could have still had the wedding to quell tensions later in the game but it should have started off with them being frenemies and Luna/Stella a boss battle.
-Playable Luna/Stella(I think Stella's attire was hotter tbh)
-Less fetchquests and more plot.

I wonder how FFIX would work in an ARPG system... I mean FFVIIR works because everyone uses magic so the KH-style magic menus work. But in FFIX Zidane, Steiner, etc do not use magic. So would their skills still be on a KH/FFVIIR-style shortcut key?
FFVIII would work in ARPG though, because of the draw system for magic.
Like I game on my phone. Plus I'm not carrying this thing in a carrying case anywhere or sharing a 6 inch screen with half a controller for two-player "on the go". It's definitely a gimmick to me.
This might be one of the main games to get me to buy a Switch. I'm honestly not impressed with the fact that it's $299 with half the power of an XB1 because of some portability gimmick. But may buy one anyway for the games...
I think the hyperbole of everyone gaming in the future is correct. I mean, of course it won't be "everyone", but a hell of a lot more people will game.
Anime streaming and Netflix are way cheaper than gaming. I"m admittedly more casual at gaming than I used to be which works out well for my wallet. I only play a few games I'm really interested in. If I were hardcore I'd probably be broke from gaming tbh. It's expensive as shit.

I think the movie could have been shortened to a 15 minute cutscene for the game and that would have sufficed. Really the game wasn't great but that movie was dragged out trash, but those graphics were pretty insane. I'm wondering if FFXVI will be almost that level with graphics.

Dissidia was very good and so have all of the KH games that have been released lately. Since this is done by the Dissidia team, assisted by the KH team, and looks to have all systems intact I think this game will be awesome.
Also I think episodic is fair, some games have a 5 hour campaign. This game is 40-90 hours, the map is huge, tons of systems to implement, and so on. Tons more work is going into this than the original. I understand they're getting a pretty penn...

I don't hate it, I think the console itself is an awesome concept and even better than PS4-Pro. The console isn't the problem... MS needs to show us games if they want us to buy into it. I actually wish PS4-Pro was specced like Scorpio to be honest. THAT would be nice.

Of course there are all of the 1st/2nd party Sony exclusives to look forward to as well. It's gonna be a big E3 for Sony fans... Most looking forward to Spiderman, God of War, and The Last of Us II. Also looking at Detroit and Death Stranding as well. Haven't played those types of games yet so will be interesting.
Such BS. FFVIIR might get delayed until PS5 but not KH3. The engine was already 75% complete when we got KH2.8, we've been getting a steady flow of KH games on various consoles in the past few years, and the game looks intact and making steady progression based on all of the trailers. I'm going to laugh in your face when they show off a KH3 trailer this year probably at e3.
