Bingo. If Nvidia even just have an SLI rig for upgraded 1080p graphics I'm all for it. I don't see it happening, but still, I can dream right? Totally willing to go back to Nintendo when they've done graphics right.
If they had something like this I'd be on it like white on rice.
I think it's best to note that they're hitting their CURRENT strengths, which is what ND was referring to in my opinion. They previous strengths with sellout consoles like SNES, n64, and GC that appealed to gamers and not casuals, are not present in the new system. They're missing out on their core base yet again.

When I'm replaying Final Fantasy VII Remake in 4K60(or near it) on PS5, Nintendo is going to be stuck on 720p/no AA. Come 2019 Ninty will look like idiots.
They don't owe you a thing? You mean they just get money for no games then. Makes sense.
Just a hunch, just like any other opinion in this thread. Any reason you're targeting me specifically? The fact that I have objective points to back up my view piss you off or something? Nintendo always gets crappy third party support, you can't change that. For that reason I am 100% sure personally. Their hardcore base isn't big enough to sell out.
Your Ninty bias get flared up at me or something?
I'm on the fence. It won't be until after a price drop and some games come out though. If they can push the system, then perhaps. If the games look like they did at launch, perhaps not. Xenoblade definitely caught my eye and I know their 3DS devs are talented. I also want to see some kind of AA on SMO before I bite.
At this point I'm disappointed in Nintendo, but it's like a dog taking a shit in the house. You chastise them and then eventually pat them...
Reduced stock for sure. They've had this thing in production for a while, and it doesn't have any breakthrough tech. If it weren't for Nintendo's rabid core fans, they would hardly be selling at all. PS4 and XB1 would still sell well without 1st party players though, because casual 3rd party players(CoD, sports, BF) would still be snatching them up.
Funny that they're aiming for second place when they could easily take first place if they'd release a powerful console. Consider PS4 was selling at $250 over the holidays. They could easily do the same and get a console that really wows people with great power mixed masterfully with their unique art direction. This plus the fact that most gamers are 3rd party casuals who play CoD, sports, and BF mainly, and they'd have a console that appeals to casuals the most with 3rd partie...
To be fair Xbox was their first console, they had no install base. Xbox and 360 arguably started the online gaming fad, and 360 was only outsold by Nintendo Wii because of physical therapists and soccer moms, not gamers.
Nintendo on Xbox and PS4 would put their profit through the roof. That situation is not reciprocal with Sony or MS putting their titles on Nintendo.
How it differs from them? Different isn't always better. It has useless portability features other than sitting in a bed and playing games, or letting someone else watch the TV. Hardly anybody is going to bring this giant tablet thing outside, and that's precisely why it won't sell well.
I'm reaching? Most people don't bring their laptops on a bus, you're trying especially hard to emit your blatant falsified reality though. This thing is big enough to require a bag, and if you're using a backpack, two bags. It's unwieldy, it doesn't fit in your pocket. Most people using laptops are propped up at cafes. Unless you seriously bring this thing out so you can game infront of people at cafes and not your own house in which case you're a putz.
Bingo, especially a giant screen I'd have to put in a case, and then into a bag when I'm done. It's kind of unwieldy.
First of all, it's ladies, not lady's
Second of all, seriously? An icebreaker with the ladies............ LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Stop it, I've had enough comedy today.
It's not being presumptuous, it's being realistic. Most people on public transit use their phones, not their laptops or tablets. Keep telling yourself that.
I guess you get on a plane everyday then. Good for you. Fly yourself out of this conversation.

Are you seriously going to ignore the argument of what he's doing in the commercial when you brought it up? Hypocritical much?
Wrong, it's disconnected from reality, period. 99% of us are not going on a plane everyday. 99% of gamers are not ever going to bring this on a bus. Keep thinking you can force YOUR reality on someone else, but fact of the matter is the high majority of people will never use this as advertised.
And I'm not "trying hard" to bash anything, this commercial's disconnect with the reality of most people/gamers is bashing itself.
Most of Nintendo's 1st party offerings are 60fps, so I'd be interested in graphics. If this dock was even an SLI rig for better 1080p settings I'd buy a Nintendo Switch as soon as the dock gets announced. I don't see it happening though.
