Exactly. If Switch we're 1.2+ TFLOPS they'd have amazing power for their art-style, looking better than Pixar in my opinion, and we all know how much people love Pixar.

I understand why they make you jump through hoops for online, with obscene smacktalk in lobbies on other platforms, but why not just have it tied to a credit card? When a parent puts in their card info, it gives the option for voice chat. Easy pe...
If they can get that resolution up I'm all for it.
No AA as well.
No.
Mario Odyssey is 514p-720p(docked).
Unless they can get that res up, they're still way in the past.
Hell, of we're lucky we might get GDDR5X or GDDR6 Ram. All depends on how much it costs when SKHynix releases it in 2018. But GDDR5 is a more safe bet, considering it will probably be expensive.
All I can say is 8-12 TFLOPS, 16GB RAM, and it will be released in 2019-2021. Aside from that don't know, don't care. I'd like to see enough of a boost sometime that AA games look nicer though.
But Sakaguchi still contributes. I mean FFIX is hugely popular, and FFVII wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for Sakaguchi's setting and Nomura's characters, even if Nojima wrote it. It's a culmination of talent, and I think that would be awesome to see them all working on another FF.
Also, wherever Sakaguchi goes, Uematsu goes. I'd love to see him contribute to another FF alongside Shimomura... Infact he could influence alot of composers....
PS2 sold that much because of the DVD craze, the fact it was cheaper, and the economy was better.
Nowadays we're paying a premium for lesser gains, most people stream or have a Blu-ray player, and the economy is dirt. Not to mention AAA games require much more attention to detail.
Where PS4 stands is amazing for what it is. But they have been expanding the audience very well. Just because it doesn't catch up to PS2 means nothing about them no...
If MS were serious about Japanese support they should have funded Kamiya/Scalebound and Sakaguchi/Mistwalker.
Talk is cheap Phil. You've had two big names/developers approach you with exclusives in this gen and last and twiddled your thumbs.
MS needs to focus on making some new AAA exclusives, first party. That's how you begin to get PS4 buyers back. After that it makes it easier to score marketing deals and 3rd party exclusives. Simple as that. Don't even focus on Japan. Focus on MS and then maybe Japan will help out again one day.
It's also very telling with Scalebound's scenario. So maybe this has already fallen upon deaf ears at MS. I mean if they really wanted to gain some Japanese s...
Trolling POS. Your overlord is Spencer promising new games and canceling them. PS4 players get new games and remakes. Our relationship is mutual, we ask for games, we get them. Your's is parasitic. You ask for games and get them canceled. The Stockholm Syndrome is apparent with you, troll.
Old games that we want remade. Have fun with your dogshit 360p rereleases. It's all you get anyway. Must be why they called it Xbox One, because you only get original Xbox games in 360p.
We get remakes that WE ASK FOR. See the difference? The only ones here with a case of anything are Xboxers with their Stockholm Syndrome. Dude, just buy an original Xbox, it's cheaper.
No, they don't like old games in place of new games like on Xbox. We also like remakes more than rereleases.
Disagrees- have fun with the same damn AAA releases every year and playing original Xbox titles in blazing 360p while we play new games and fan requested remakes.
Agreed for the 2019/2020 release estimate. Not only is it market saturation (sales will go down), but most big titles are going to be 2018/2019. I doubt they'll start making games for PS4 for a release at 2020 and beyond if PS5 is right around the corner.
Spidey
Days Gone
God of War
Detroit
etc are all 2018 releases. They're not going to start a 3-4 year production cycle for the next game in 2018 for a 2021-2022 release on PS4 ...
My guess is as soon as AMD produces the next APU. So 2019 earliest 2021 latest, especially if AMD goes through some delays like they are currently with Ryzen/Vega. How can we expect them to be quicker with Ryzen+/Navi? I'm not saying they won't release in 2019, infact I'm all for it. I'm just saying with their current pace 2020/2021 seems more likely.
I enjoy using apps like VRV to watch anime and YouTube, but seriously you should be able to delete apps/garbage you're not going to use. I have to scroll past nonsense to find the few apps I do use...
Deff holding us back. With weak hardware and gimmicks we ended up with XB1/Kinect instead of a competitor to PS4. I wouldn't doubt we might also have better hardware if Ninty wasn't around. When there is no competition companies can charge whatever they want. I got my PS4-Pro a few weeks after with two free games which shows they could be more competitive if they wanted, either selling it at a lesser price or giving us more hardware for the same price. I wouldn't doubt for a ...
Yeah if not I'll have to make a Japanese PSN account to download it. Hopefully someone will translate the controls and put it on the net if it doesn't get localized, but I've got a feeling it will.
We need a 4K switch, it would be amazing.
