I think we should take it upon ourselves not to spoil it for new fans. FF in particular has been losing popularity with only a recent resurgence, meaning many do not know about FFVII and will want to play the remake either from word of mouth by friends or after seeing gameplay and trailers. And Star Wars has a much, much bigger following than FF, even if you were to do Star Wars watchers per capita versus FFVII players per gamer population.
And some gamers were born 15 years ago and never even played a Final Fantasy, your point? With FFVIIR right around the corner, this will be many gamers first foray into a FF, why ruin it for them?

Well Knack has smaller areas and fixed camera, so it's definitely not as amazing technologically as KH3 or Ratchet, but the art style is largely the same as some Pixar stuff.
Naw, it's that Xbox has no commitment to 1st party AAA developers aside from Halo/Gears/Forza. How many times can a person replay the same game? Also Halo and Gears have taken a turn for the worst.

They've got two AAA 1st party studios aside from Turn 10, terrible relations with Japanese 3rd party, and lastly, but definitely not least the only reason they caught up with PS3 last gen was because it took longer for Sony to come out with exclusives because of the Cell architecture, and the Cell/Blu-Ray combo costed $599. It's making Xbox's library look poorer, just like the Fable card game. Hardly anybody wants these games and this will only drive more gamers to buy PS4 to play Spidey, Days Gone, TLOU2, GoW, FFVIIR, Detroit, SoC, etc.
A few diehard Xboxers will say they want this game, and Xbox will get a few sales for it. Although this will drive more middle of the road buyers to PS4. It is definitely doing more harm than good.
