We still have no confirmation it's even native 1080p. It could be 900p upscaled and they're just saying 1080p as an output resolution.

Not joking at all. The graphics are underwhelming to me in almost every fashion. I'd really prefer it was 1080p60 with good AA and 6-8GB of RAM for better textures. This just barely, barely would make it acceptable to me.

And I don't see how a cinematic Star Wars game on the best engine we have, by one of the writers of Uncharted isn't going to recoup on losses. It sounds like a once-in-a-gen type game tons of people would scoop up.

On the other hand, Dice needs to lead their own exodus out of EA and form a new studio. Call it Thrice or something, get a good engine like UE or Decima and rebuild themselves as a new studio separate of EA. It could take years but I'm sure gamers would have their backs. Imagine if they all left and formed a new studio under Sony...
I agree, it adds depth to the map as well, makes details easier to see, and because it's not so bright is easier on the eyes. This is all around win.
