That doesn't stop it from happening. Activision Blizzard and Insomniac are recent examples. To my knowledge, there's only a handful of states that actually require sexual harassment training. You're jumping through legal hoops if the culture allows harassment to occur anyways, and as we've seen, it often does.
Wut? lol
No that's basic psychology. It's called compensation and projection. It's a sign of weakness, and being uncomfortable in one's own skin/ sexuality that they can't deal with experiences, lifestyles, sexual preferences etc. outside their own. The most vocal people are the most scared and conflicted in the group. Either that or just angry and immature looking to take their frustrations out on an easy target, i.e. displacement.
Just note the fact that the childs identity can't be revealed and can't even held accountable for what they said. It's nonsense.
@dbcoops I really don't see your point. The event itself includes optional and temporary content, it's not forcing you to do anything. If it offends your values or beliefs some how, you can just as easily ignore it. Nothing gives them precedence over others, and to believe otherwise is childish. Fitting that this article is about a child, and their assertion that the event is "against nature". Guess what? Videogames are against nature, there's nothing natural about them....
downvoters tell me how I'm wrong please
Except heterosexuals culture *is* on full display all the time in games, whether you realize it or not. I fully get why some gamers are uncomfortable with it, and that's fine. It represents a paradigm shift, and change is scary. It's not an affront though, no one is challenging your identity or asking you to become gay. They're only asking you to embrace, or at the very least tolerate cultural diversity in games. If your reaction to that falls under the category of discrimination,...
Yeah Xcloud isn't really a viable mobile service for another 5-10 years. And it's still probably not the preferred way to play at that point, due to multitasking, performance and connectivity issues, etc. Devices like Steam Deck can feasibly become the market and mind share leaders of AAA mobile gaming in that time frame. Devices that allow you to download games will always have an edge over services like xcloud.
Or.... Sony is saving something good for the holiday months.
GOTY fasho
For a launch window game it's performed well, obviously owning a PS5 is going to be a limiting factor here....
The bottom line is that being an asshole is less about your views / beliefs and more about how you treat people. I can get behind any policy that targets discrimination, harassment, persecution, bullying etc. and I feel like that is the real intention here, but it's a very thin line to walk by singling out certain groups / values instead of certain behavior, and unfortunately the behavioral aspect is often disregarded in favor of some social agenda in these situations. It's just socia...

You're going to be alienating a lot of gamers with that kind of policy. But its probably disingenuous, it's probably more like we don't want customers who aren't aligned with our values, and being an asshole in the name of social justice is sanctioned.
Looks good. Maybe it's just me but I'd rather have a reboot than a remake though....
Aren't they all? This is 6 months though, and will allow you to watch the entire first season of the new Foundation series for free. Just set a reminder to cancel in your calendar if you don't want to pay.
Rumor is that Epic was acting as a stalking horse for Microsoft so yeah.

Looks good, Xbox needs more platformers. Not a fan of that Tim Burton aesthetic though, made more sense 16 years ago.
@SourOG " if you put your hands on someone it’s instant fired " Yeah, because that's sexual assault, a step up from harassment. You might need to revisit that training class, seems you're confused about what sexual harassment even is.
