An "SJW" is basically someone who talks in terms of "us" and "our morality". They believe that we should all share the same moral codes, and that they know what those should be.

They want other people to change how they live their lives and judge them heavily on their personal choices.

They seek to control games, as they feel that the minds of other people are easily manipulated by media.

There are far more than ...

CB: W was always praised for its graphics back in the day.

@Perjoss

I expect that made for a very interesting art game, but completely losing one of the two senses with which we observe video games is certainly not something which would be good on a large scale.

You cannot mention one outlier and expect that to completely invalidate my point. Graphics are important, as is gameplay.

I'm quite shocked that people are called "graphics (prostitutes)" for enjoying the artistic works of 3D mo...

Graphics and gameplay are not independent of one and other.

They work together. Gameplay is limited without graphics to provide immersion, while great graphics alone are boring without strong gameplay.

By far the game I play the most now is work.

Money in the bank account = points

Representative of what?

Are games supposed to represent 21st century world demographics? Why? How does that even make any sense?

Would a game set in Medieval Abyssinia require white people to "represent" the population?

Please don't be ridiculous.

Lol. The SJWs squabble among themselves about nonsense while the rest of the world sigh, having more important things to do than whine on the internet about how smart they are, and how they should have the right to make decisions on other people's behalf.

It's not the graphics I'm worried about as much as the engine itself.

I am worried that we still won't be able to drive cars, vertibirds and such, or even climb ladders (a well-known problem with Bethesda's engine).

I don't care about textures (which modders can fix). I care about the game engine, which looks like it has hardly moved forward in recent years. I worry primarily that this will hurt gameplay, in ways which modders *can't* ...

Fallout 3.5

3899d ago 2 agree8 disagreeView comment

I beg to differ.

But what's really sad here is that their engine doesn't look much better. Will we be able to use ladders now? Will we finally be able to drive cars around (if we want to be Mad Max style wastelanders)? Can we fly gunships? Sail rafts/boats? Will we get any insanely cool engine features like a continuously growing beard added in?

I doubt it. We can't, but we probably should be able to, as these are immersion breaking oversights. In...

The graphics look pretty awful compared to the Witcher 3.

The first thought I had was that this looks like Fallout 3 with a few visual mods.

I really hope they announce a non-AC game involving pirates.

However I'm almost certain that this will not happen.

If the game is to bring the changes to the engine necessary, then the entire world and story would have to be different.

Novigrad would not exist on last-gen consoles. We had to make do with small villages like Solitude and Windhelm.

The only way this would work, realistically, is if they did what Ubisoft did and made two completely different games (as with Rogue and Unity).

If Fallout 4 has been made for consoles, it will undoubtedly be far ...

I like beer being in games, but I drink plenty of it in real life.

I also like scantily-clad women in my games, and I get ample quantities of them in my life also.

I see no problem :p

I'm sure there are women out there who feel the same way about the Geralt nudity also.

A man can never have enough breasts in his life, be they pixelated or real.

Video game boobs do not replace real life boobs, but add to the total. ;)

Online isn't the future; it is just the evolution of multiplayer gaming. Single-player gaming is a very different market that isn't going anywhere any time soon.

I'm not throwimg a tantrum. I don't even play FIFA (or any sport game for that matter). I'm just deeply cynical.

Maybe your point is correct. Maybe it's not. Perhaps it genuinely is just a coincidence that this is happening in such divisive times. You can't blame those who do get angry and go on the defensive, as in many cases, the vocal minority point is very relevant,

And my opening line was clearly hyperbole, and not an absolute stateme...
