Not the point.

Now give us exe files.

I'm racist against Krogans, so I will care.

@Forum Pirate

It's if you have lots of script-based mods. Papyrus stores information on the RAM, and when it goes over the 4GB limit ENBoost gives you, the game crashes.

Mods like Frostfall, iNeed, Civil War Overhaul etc. Also many quests.

64 bit should in theory allow more complex scripted mods.

Actually, the major improvement is 64 bit, which makes modded games more stable by allowing the use of more than 4GB of RAM (modded games reaching the RAM limit is responsible for most crashes).

So the major benefit is modding. Most mods require SkyUI. Hence, this news is awful.

The only solution is for someone else to somehow take the mod forward, or for a new SkyUI alternative to be created.

People are not defending nastiness.

But the problem is that this is being taken way too seriously.

There is no body. It's a game. Virtual things are not real.

The good thing about those courses is that they build hatred towards the people imposing them. The further they take this, the bigger the backlash will be, and it's going to erupt at some point.

Without exe files there are no mods. Most games are moddable in some way (even if it's just uni editing for graphics settings), but the removal of exe files signals an end to mods which are not officially supported, and this makes people anxious.

Add to this the fact that PC gamers don't like leaving Steam anyway (too much hassle), and you can see the problem.

I wouldn't say the situation is getting ugly. Hardly anyone use Linux, and a few quotes from random backers are not indicative of much.

Probably a smart move on the part of Warhorse to focus on Windows and consoles first - that's where the players are.

It's not a word. It's two.

Now let's please keep the hype down so this doesn't become another No Man's Sky. Please guys.

I think it's quite cool.

I don't see a problem. FFXV gains publicity, as does Red Dead 2. Win-win.

Look white to me.

3397d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

@McToasty I do know that. My original post was just a quick estimate to make a point (consider Turks "white" in that context - they look white to me anyway). As I said, I was mostly referring to 99% of soldiers being men (actually a lot more than that to be honest).

The Austro-Hungarian Empire was indeed diverse, but it still consisted of European ethnic groups (German, Slav, Hungarians, Romanians, Italians).

To be honest, I'm a bit of a his...

SJWs are not liberals.

Please, let's not tarnish the reputation of Locke, Mill, and the American founding fathers with "progressive" radical egalitarian lunacy.

The problem with the article is that it is very low quality.

It's OK to have "sjw" articles if they are well written, and try to be fair to opposing points, but this one is just far too simplistic.

If you want to look at share of the action, you need to look at casualties! This also weights units by length of time in combat. I'll use averages of high and low estimates:

5,800,000 allied casualties (est.)

3,900,000 axis casualties (est.)

Let's take off:

Japanese - 2,500
Indian - 70,000
African American - 4,814
African - 86,140

If you include Ottomans under &quo...

The vast, vast majority of soldiers in WW1 were white men. That's just the reality.

We're talking around 99%. 1% is called an "outlier".
