Crytek remind me of Dice, they tell us what we want.

Exactly, its like if their game looks great and "melts PCs" then they're happy, who cares if the gameplay is the same and as boring as every other shooter out there. Great graphics dont make great games, great gameplay makes great games.

I never liked Crytek, they seem very arrogant and cant take criticism. They're always making excuses like this one and the other usual one "consoles are holding us back because they're limited", well you have a...

Yeah, when i was playing BF3, everytime i went on to battlelog it was full of those brony guys, all with their stupid avatars. They almost ruined every conversation with their crap.
That game seems to attract a lot of them for whatever reason.

I dont know if a community can be labeled, like i dont think you can say "The PSN is full of retards" or "Live is full of kids", things like that because it all comes down to personal experience. If i play on Steam, have a great time, then play on PSN and have a terrible time, naturally im going to think that Steam has a great community and PS doesn't.
Every community has its fair share of retards and nice guys, its just chance to which ones to meet the most. ...

Speaking of MGS, MGS3 had some of the best boss battles ive ever played, especially "The End", nothing tops him for me.
Nice list though, man i remember Sonic, staying up all night, getting to the last boss and then dying and i mean dying, no reloading a savegame from just before the fight, no checkpoint, no password, dead!! Its was brutal.....then the next night i would go again. Good ol' days.

The digital age for gaming is some years off yet, yeah loads of people have embraced it and Steam is doing great, but the difference being consoles sell because of the convenience they offer over PCs, if you're going to game on the PC then you usually know what you need and what to expect beforehand, a lot of people dont and just buy a console because you plug it in, go to your nearest game store to have a browse, pop in your game and thats it.

Most people around my town ...

I really liked the presentation, i like the features, even though im not on facebook or mad into this social age we've come into, but its good to have them for the PS4. I like the streaming feature, we've all had those one-in-a-million moments that wished we could show our friends.

Unlike most people though, im not really excited, or vice versa, regarding the graphics, sure its nice to have beautiful looking games, but my favorite looking games are usually because of ...

Yeah, it had the feel of a solid base for a great sequel, which i was eagerly anticipating until i realised it wasn't coming at all.

Yeah and at the conference they also said it would change colors to warn you or tell you something during gameplay, like if your low on health it will probably start flashing red etc...

Love the look of the controller.

"In killzone you just shoot, run somewhere shoot, run somwhere and shoot again like every other shooter.. No?"

In Crysis you just shoot, run somewhere shoot, run somwhere and shoot, while invisible or invincible.. No? Yeah that really requires you to knuckle down and use your head.....ahahahahahah what a gobshite.
Crysis is just like every other boring shooter for me, killzone included, just looks a bit better (well on PCs anyway).

Those two...

Same, i always have a few bookmarked just in case.
I hope it goes smoothly, gonna be a lot of people watching.
This will probably be one of those days where your internet connection decides to be a complete bastard.

Yeah, Black Holes are cool. There's a Supermassive Black Hole at the center of our galaxy, i was thinking of going there someday.
If the PS4 doesn't have some implementation of Black Holes then i will be very disappointed.

Yeah, i remember this being announced, when we got that teaser 3 weeks ago and it was like "3 weeks? Damn thats going to go slow" and wala, now we are here. But now the day itself stops to a grind.

Im the same as yourself and most gamers, giddy with excitement and anticipation, i love these things. The worse thing though is when its over, you know most things about it and then its waiting until the damn thing comes out. Sometimes the mystery is better. Anyway, cant ...

Im the same, i really should try n' stop coming on here, reading everything PS related, it makes the waiting much harder.

Even worse, ever have one of those days where you think its the next day? Yeah, i had that this morning, of all the days to have it. Woke up, thought of the PS meeting and thought "Woohoo its tonight", then realised, wait a minute, its only Tuesday!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I know how to use filters and have used them, its not rocket science at the end of the day. Also, i only entered games with good pings and still had issues. You can say its my own fault all you want, but thats pure speculation since you dont know anything about my PC, my experience with this stuff or anything like that.

Im not saying Battlefield on the PC is terrible, or that Battlelog doesn't work, i simply stated that my experience wasn'...

I own both, PC & PS3, and love them both.
Each has their own strengths and weaknesses, of course.
One strong point for consoles is the convenience, the comfort of popping in your game and knowing its going to work, that its not going to crash and you don't have tweak certain settings and edit certain files etc.. with that being said, its not like all PC games have this hassle, its just the odd one here and there but still frustrating nonetheless.

Even more reason why i think you will love the Souls' games.
No mundane task like you said, no cliched story rammed down your throat, no bad guy etc...

Im also glad you got Demon's Souls, Dark Souls seems to be the most famed and a lot of guys play that and dont even know about Demon's Souls, which is a huge shame.

Hope you enjoy them.

Play the Souls' games, Demon and Dark Souls, if you haven't already.
They're what you'd call great "games".
No cutscenes, no quicktime, no explosions, no objective, no map, no handholding etc... Just a good old fashioned gaming adventure.
Best two games this generation and, even though they looked fine, its all down to solid and innovative gameplay. Thats what makes great games.
