Demon Souls, the gem that got lost in Dark Souls shadow, albeit an amazing shadow it was.
Dark Souls is the better game, but i played Demons Souls first and it was such a great gaming experience, it felt so new and refreshing yet so old-school too.
Hell, i was trying to play Tomb Raider recently and for some reason i got the urge to make a Faith build in Dark Souls, out of nowhere, i couldn't resist and bamn i'm hooked again.
Not a bad list, its mostly blockbusters but good ones at that.
I would like to add the two Souls' games, Demon & Dark Souls, unbelievable "games" and definitely my favorite games this gen and among my favorite games ever.

I consider myself a huge Rockstar fan and recently bought Manhunt and Bully on GMG, I was bragging to my brother how nobody remembers these two Rockstar gems, especially Bully. Yet i completely forgot about Smugglers Run, cant believe i did, the hours i put into that game.

Best examples of this sort of thing for me is the likes of GTA, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Dark Souls etc... where you can spend about 3/4 hours playing the game then when you're finished you realize you didn't even do anything, like you didn't make any progress in the game at all. Playing thru Metro 2033 on the PC now, after ages of tweaking to get it to run smoothly, that aside im loving it. Really dark and atmospheric, you just get completely adsorbed into the game.

I was listening to the CVG preview yesterday and while they were describing the heist aspects of the game, the way you pick your team, a driver, shooter, tech guy etc... I thought right away how that would be a great co-op part of the game.

I can understand the frustration of being invaded, especially it you progress thru a very difficult part and then get invaded and get killed.
It annoyed me and i wasn't very good at pvp, but i still wouldn't want it removed or have an option to turn it off as i feel it adds to the "could-be-death-around-ev ery-corner" tension of the game, plus its the price you pay for summoning people for help, its like a yin-yang and is a crucial element of the game.
Kinda surprising not to see bigger devs going for Darksiders, its a very solid franchise in a dying genre.

I see "Killing Floor" on there for €4.50. If you're a fan of zombies and co-op then this is a no brainer. Ive been playing it for the last week or so and i never thought i would like it this much, very addictive and fun game. Well, i was a huge PES fan back in the PES4/5/6 days. Hated the next generation iterations, although i put enough time into them. I turned to FIFA at FIFA10, i enjoyed it but never to the level i enjoyed the old PES'. Like, i can never play FIFA for a long session, it gets boring way too quickly and the gameplay, beneath all the glitz and glamour, is shallow. That said, i have enjoyed them to an extent.

Get rid of the scripting, killed the game for me, nothing worse than when the AI decides which way the match will go, takes all the power and control from the player. Its so predictable at times, around the 80th min, my players start acting wacky and become hard to control, the opposition become faster, stronger, quicker to react, perfect passers and finisher while my team acts the exact opposite and bang they score their inevitable late goal.
The AI is also terrible.
