I wouldn't mind PvP as much if it wasn't as laggy, which results in guys being in front of you one second then stabbing you in the back the next, or if guys just had a good old fashion duel opposed to walking in circles for ages because the guy is so determined to just backstab you.
That being said, i didn't PvP much.
I hope they dont just make it hard for the sake of making it hard. The only reason the two previous games were so hard was because every oth...
Ahhh remember how i took the day off when PS3 was released, which was a Friday here in ireland so i had the whole weekend.
Cant wait!
Yeah, i remember how he said that the game would be out before the end of the year (2012) and how he stressed that "it just has to" come out before then. That was over 6 months ago.
But still, i dont mind guys taking their time to get things right. Cant wait to play this.
Hmmmm, i partially agree. I know what you mean when you say you didn't want to be "that" guy who wasted a vehicle and it is annoying when you're on the other side of that, when you all jump into a heli and the guy just crashes straight into the ground.
On the otherhand, getting into a jet and getting slaughtered by a pro, as annoying as it was, it felt like it was a rite of passage and when you do start to do well there is a certain type of satisfaction know...
Yeah, thats the thing with BF3. I can spend an hour giving out about it, and have, but i still put so many hours in that game and have had so many crazy moments.
This game looks great, when the skyscraper dropped during the conference my jaw dropped too, blew me away.
It also got me back in the mood for BF3 which i havent played in ages.
What a shithead! @UNGR
To be honest i don't really bother with the reviews on here but the high score on this one caught my eye. I haven't played the game so i cant agree or disagree with this, but ive played the previous ones and although i enjoyed the 1st game, the 2nd was very average. Im not really a fan of Crytek as they seem more focused on "blowing up machines" with their graphics opposed to focusing on gameplay.
Which brings me to my point re...
Personal preference.
You cant tell a guy who prefers his PS3, 360 or Wii(or the next gen versions of those) that they're wrong, that the PC is 'their' gaming platform of choice.
Unless you're a complete bastard of course.
"Man i can't beleive it's just 3 days away .. Can't wait!"
Nice one, didn't realize it was that close. Usually a week or 2 before E3 time turns into a crawl, but this year has flown for me and i cant believe its so damn close. Brilliant.
Oh and Keighley's a gobshite, like everyone said, he's a lick-arse and hypes anything for the sake of hyping.
Cruising thru the downtown at night listening to "NIghtcall" will be pretty damn cool. So it would.
Dont know if Kavinsky is the DJ, i just heard he was featured.
I want a head of cabbage from neptune.
The End is the greatest boss battle ever for me, unforgettable.
Psycho mantis was a very unique battle too. MGS as a whole has had some great boss battles, among the best in gaming.
Indeed and they will be the first guys to admit the problems with their games.
I loved both games, which were actually very distinct from one another really, gameplay and graphic wise. A lot of people didn't play or didn't like the first one. I'll admit when i played the first, which i did before Witcher 2, i thought it was clunky and downright weird and almost gave up but the game grew on me and soon i didn't feel that way at all and loved the game.
Its reall...
The thing is stubbed_out, i loved PES's idea of how a soccer game should play like. They never play it safe, they're always trying to innovate. They have problems executed these concepts though and I'll be the first to admit how disappointed this generation of PES games have been, how flawed they are.
I also jumped on the FIFA bandwagon around 11 and have bought them since. But regardless, FIFA is such an overrated and shallow game. Like i said, it looks great, sounds gre...
These guys seem too good to be true, i bet they strangle puppies in their spare time.
Because they just seem to "get it", no bullshit, no superlatives etc... They know what gamers want and what they dont want in a game, or at least they genuinely listen and try to implement that information into their games.
They dont try to ram dlc down your throat, don't add a generic multiplayer and say its unique, just honest to goodness gaming.
Gotta love t...
PES try every year to innovate, while still ignoring certain flaws and also introduce new ones, but as frustrating as thow flaws can be the gameplay is still on another level to FIFA.
FIFA has all the gloss and shazam, it looks and sounds like football, but its a terrible "game", PES is the opposite, looks and sounds weird but has such, albeit flawed, deep gameplay.
Well, it depends on what defines great games or gaming platform for you.
Many people seem to quickly assume, sadly, that because of the better hardware available for the PC then that equates to a better gaming platform or games.
Hardware only gets you so far i.e. graphics, AI, physics etc... basically the ingredients. But you need a good cook to get the best out of those ingredients. A great cook can still do better with limited ingredients that a shitty cook can do with the b...
Love indie games, the only games where developers have no creative restraints from expectations or pressure from publishers, they pretty much have freedom to do what they want. Its very very important for gaming, its going to be where you'll find the most creativity and innovation.
I always find Gametrailers reliable for these events or the playstation blog, ive switched between the two for the last few years and had pretty much smooth experiences.
...or expected surprises!!!
##SPOILERS AHEAD##
I just finished the game so now i can finally read some reviews and see what other people think about it.
First off, i loved it. The atmosphere, the interactions, the soundtrack & voice acting, the gameplay, the characters... I agree that the story was cliche but i didnt mind, it was more of a vehicle for the main focus which was Joel & Ellie's adventure together. This was even more apparent by the non-typical ending. I love non...
