Actually you're wrong. The PS4 will be a huge improvement over last generation, though it's still playing catch up to PCs - that's okey though, PCs double their power every 18th month, a console could never keep up with that, it's however unimportant. Games today are generally made for consoles and PCs gets ports, sure we do get a bit better bling and higher resolution but it's really quite underwhelming for what the hardware really can do.

Why? How is it moronic to discard an Ethernet port in 2013? Are you living in the forest, under a tree somewhere, banging sticks together trying to get some fire? Jeez, WiFi only makes sense in this day and age, having an Ethernet port does not.
Nintendo shouldn't have launched the Wii U without any of their AAA exclusives, that was their first mistake, no actually, calling it Wii U was their first mistake (Never liked the Wii name to begin with but it would've made more sense to uneducated consumers if they would've called the next one Wii 2 instead)
Had the Wii U launched with a must have Nintendo game like an amazing Zelda, or 3D Mario etc, the Wii U would've sold, tons. Iwata is running Nintendo i...
Europe is Playstations strongest market, they really should release it here simultaneously
Lol it's not 1/10 of a GTX680 you troll.
@vZeppelin
I agree with you on Skyrim, I don't give it a pass, I'm still disappointed at that. So I'm not hypocritical, but you still have to agree that the leap from Morrowind to Oblivion was a substantial one so brining that game into the equation isn't feasible.
@vZeppelin
There's a noticeable difference and upgrade with each iteration of the engine used in TES games. That's more than you can say about the Cod one, each game has felt the same, played the same and looked the same.
@Mustang
Good business doesn't automatically means a good game. There's nothing so lacking in fantasy than COD, why is that? Cause they milk it, there's not enough time between releases to actually come up with something n...
What made the first three Resident Evils good horror games was the fact that it seemed plausible (the first one especially) then the story just went apeshit, the further from reality something is the less scary it is.
I can pretty confidently say that the Resident Evil remake on Gamecube probably still is one of the best horror games to date (I did play all the original ones on PS1 back in the 90s too but the graphical fidelity in the remake compared to the older ones did rea...
There are no other franchise more in need of a new engine than COD, they've been using the same one since 2005 (with minor tweaks), though not sure it could save a COD game anyway^^
It's a very good argument and should make sense to everyone +bubble!
What a silly thing to say, you say you're a core fan yet you won't play the next MGS cause Hayter isn't doing the voice? Then why did you play MGS4? Richard Doyle is perfect for the aged Big Boss and I hope it'll be so. You call yourself a core fan.. hpmf, you're not a core fan. And I'm saying this even though I as so many other love the iconic voice Hayter created for Snake, I love it just as much as you do, doesn't mean I'm blinded though.
It's not a question of porting as so - cause it will be in the sense with it using the same models and so on, they won't redo the game but they will rewrite it to fit the PS4 architecture. Probably with a few added goodies, otherwise it'll be pretty much the same. It's not financially feasible to redo the game from the ground up.
I'm sorry but it's impossible. On the GPU Technology Conference nVidia showed how far they've gotten in simulating humans graphically. It's probably the nicest looking thing you've seen but just to do the face took 4 900 billion (!) flops per second in 60fps. That's half of the latest Titan GPUs computing power (that's the most powerful commercial GPU in the world).

I'm not sure there's any benefit for Microsoft to have DRM seeing how piracy and so on isn't such a big problem on the consoles, only use it could have is for blocking used games I guess.
The PS4 and NextBox will be priced pretty much the same, no matter what's in them and one being more expensive to manufacture than the other. Neither one can afford to loose market shares, it's the games they make the money from, not the hardware itself.
"Less sophisticated memory system". The Cell is one of the most sophisticated architectures commercially available that sure didn't help Sony get better third party games. I feel the Memory Modules on the NextBox is overly complicating things, keep it nice and simple. PS4 is already getting praise for how easy it is to develop for, I'm pretty sure NextBox won't be that much of a difference.
However I do know that Microsoft have stated that their strateg...
Just some insight for you from someone who's actually Swedish. That's NOT a Swedish accent, it's made up and sounds more like Norwegian if anything. Also the editing and the nature of the interview tells us that GT was in on it. I'm pretty sure all of it is staged. The bandages was obviously there to make whoever that is unrecognisable, that doesn't mean he need to be famous but just that he's not supposed to be found.
Also it would make no sense to a...
Cause GZ is for current gen and PP is for next-gen :>
Though he look nothing like Cliff -_-
Not really a "monstrosity" but yeah I'm happy with the upgrade and what it will do for us PC gamers!
