@Lior
The bandwidth is way more important than latency for moving let's say textures. The lower latency of the DDR3 is preferable for multitasking - which seems to be the OS heavy Xbox1s main focus.
All in one can do many things good, it can't do everything great! Why didn't we see what kind of RAM it was in the box? How does 5 billion transistors tell us of the computing power :S
Yeah that seriously had to be a joke! I'm not impressed with Ghost at all. Compare it to BF4...
The day of the Xbox reveal. PS4 article still the hottest one. Sony succeeded there.
Pretty sure the rumours always been the other way around. The nextbox goals doesn't demand it to be the most powerful.
Computers doesn't follow generations -_-, they're always ahead - and why wouldn't they be? The hardware in consoles are used for nearly a decade. Reason to why we don't nearly ever see the power behind PCs are that games are build for consoles and then get some added flash for the PC versions. A game built for a PC ground up would be capable to blow any console game out of the water - How many could actually play this game is in a sense irrelevant.
Console ga...
What Nintendo should do is to fire Iwata, he's horrible for the company. Wii Us single most important problem now is the lack of games - if we are to analyse it for what cards we were dealt. The Wii U should've come out 3 years ago (just as Michael Pachter said lol).
Problem is, Nintendo claims revenue cause they made the game, however they didn't make the commentary yet they earn money on that too (while the commentator wont get squat). And honestly it's the commentary people are looking for
Hitman was made by IO Interactive and published by Square Enix.. Just letting you know.
You can't create a proper game from the ground up every year. Quality takes time, when you cut time you cut quality I'm afraid. That's why games like MGS, Half Life, TES is so great. They got so much time put into them that they're generally considered 'great', while games like COD can be 'good' and even 'great' for some, those annual games are never universally titled as great!
Actually FFXIII was like the fastest selling FF ever released!
OnT:
My fav is III and VI.
Of course they will. The Wii U did and they are also a Sony competitor. There's no other viable option (no HDDVD is NOT a viable option, it's a dead and buried format)
That's about right. Not at all the same FPS and Resolution though. I'll be getting it for my PC anyway.
They're right about some things. The smartphones and tablets will compete with the consoles, but this only apply to the casual market! The casuals that flocked in to the market with Wii and Kinect. They fail to understand that these weren't actual customers to begin with, they wouldn't had bought the next GoW or CoD or whatever, they bought Kinect sports, or Wii Sports, maybe another title. That's about it.
Smartphones can give casuals an experience they'v...
Playstation has always been substantially bigger in Europe than the Xbox, always! this article is stupid, not cause it claims a winner, you can do that - but if you're going to do that you better support it with some plausible reasons. Ignoring the world sales of games and just count NA ones is incredibly stupid. If that was the case the Xbox will always win cause they're bigger in the US. Counting world sales, European ones specifically we get an entirely different picture. (The GT s...
@skibeta
That's just stupid. Do you think anyone would consider it financially feasible for Microsoft to buy third party titles like that. It isn't. Third parties are even more reluctant than ever to do exclusive deals. Especially on a new console launch when the install base are so small.
The amendment on gun ownership was pointed at the British since the US didn't have a standing army at the time. It's horribly outdated today and just stupid. If the US were to ban firearms the homicide rate would drop dramatically. At least successful ones. Hadn't there been firearms in that house OR they had been properly locked away that woman would still be alive for sure.
So just because gamers are more educated today and won't buy games without a certainty that they like it they don't deserve to play it? It's a farce for publishers/developers to profit from games that honestly don't really appeal to that many people but before they bought it anyway cause there were far less likely they'd know whether it would be a game for them or not.
A pirated copy is not a lost sale, it could be a future customer however if they liked ...
Cod was a game of this past generation. Not one of the next, I'm positive COD won't be as big this next gen.
Do you all understand what this will mean:
"What follows naturally from this is that each disc would have to be tied to a unique Xbox Live account, else you could take a single disc and pass it between everyone you know and copy the game over and over. Since this is clearly not going to happen, each disc must then only install for a single owner.
Microsoft did say that if a disc was used with a second account, that owner would be given the option to pay a fee and...
