I don't know on CoD, the campaign is completely reworked and so is the spec-ops. I don't mind it as much, but this MvC update better be large. Most of these additions can be done with just a DLC. All they usually have are a few more characters.
I'm cool with DLC! Just don't make it a full retail release ONLY.
but it requires you to have a PS Vita!
No thanks, I will play it on my console, because the PS Vita is damn expensive.
Damn! I can't believe the Xbox 360 is barely discounted still! The Xbox 360 hasn't had a price drop in years, in f'in years!
Is there really no f'in competition? Bring the heat people!
Here is a developer coming out and being honest saying hindsight is 20/20. We wished we did better and that was after like a decade of development!
What do they get? Bashed!
Then you have other companies that release half assed games that get praised to oblivion! Then people wonder why gaming journalism sucks, and that the state of gaming is going in the wrong direction.
As far as I can tell, Blizzard has generally been very very good to the...
@morganfell:
You spelled doom and gloom, yet Devil's Third is still throdding along.
You made a bunch of claim as facts with nothing to back up and amazingly, YOU JUST DID IT AGAIN!
What sort of proof do you have Itagaki is partying?
Based on the wording, it seems from start to the splitting of THQ and Valhalla seemed very amicable.
The easy solution is to keep down rating these sites that pull shit like that. As soon as those ratings starts affecting the sites, they will stop abusing titles!
Hit the plus sign next to the site url above and down rate that mofo site!!!
Well it doesn't take a genius to figure it out though.
Let's face it, the gap between VHS tapes and DVD was huge, while the gap between DVD and Blu-Ray is way smaller. Are there differences? Sure! However, the gap is surely much less perceivable.
Once you get to a certain saturation point, it doesn't really matter anymore. Besides, graphics isn't everything. For instance, Crysis was a piece of graphical masterpiece, yet I haven't really p...
I think the key here is that we are still talking about 60fps vs 30 fps games and then you are adding in latency, bandwidth and very low fault tolerance.
This isn't something Gaikai can control, as Gaikai doesn't control the internet so they are just a small pawn in a big pond.
Even at a very high speed internet there are plenty of artifacts visible during intense scenes and that is close to best case scenario.
Heed my words, before ...
I wouldn't call nVidia Grid exclusive. Nvidia's interest in this partnership is to eventually sell Grid to the general public.
That said, OnLive already employs the same services so Grid is hardly required.
"MS has none of those."
Yes, MS doesn't own the content, but they certainly have Sony content on Xbox Live. Furthermore, did you know that apart from Zune, MS developed Silverlight that is used in Netflix.

@morganfell:
That is bullshit and you know it, but I'm really wasting my time with you as proven in the past. Still got me blocked after sending me a PM with two line insult calling me an Apple worshipper (that's a first one actually) instead of sending a well formed and fact based response?
I will give you another chance if you are up for discussion instead of insults and blocks.

Well, MS has Azure for years now. You can right now go out and buy "cloud services" from MS. That's right, RIGHT NOW and not wait for any government approval!
That's right MS has been competing cloud service providers such as Google, Amazon Web Services, VMware and so on for years now and is a major player.
Point being, MS is an old dog when it comes to the cloud. Their Hypervisor technology powers a lot of clouds, not just their own.
It would be a freaken sad day if it was!
I don't want a console that *has* to be connected at all times. That would be retarded, especially if I have a poor connection.
The Wii U SDK is also built to make it easy to port Xbox 360 games specifically.
However, with the weak support from third parties shown so far I'm not certain it will match the Xbox 360. It will be more like a poor clone with excellent Nintendo titles!
Anyhow, excited to see things are moving forward and Wii U is where things are happening.
I don't know if I want a touch based game on my big screen TV. I'm not even sure how they are making that transition.
This sounds like a gimmick, but I will reserve judgement until I see and try it.
@Nodoze
"That's it, use number trickery to fool the buyer. Clearly the Xbox 8 (really Xbox 3) would be better than the PS4 (really a PS4)...wouldn't it?"
As a opposed to fooling users with words instead?
Also are you saying you are the kind of person that gets fooled by numbers in a product model name?
I sure as hell don't know anyone who would be "fooled" by a digit in a name.
I think Xbox Infinity or Xbox Loop is far more awesome. The sideway infinity sign can double as the number 8.
Xbox 8 by itself is kind of stupid.
@ZoyosJD:
"It's another give and take thing, but BR still has room to grow with many new drives being 8x or more."
and how does that help my current PS3?
If I can't read the data fast enough from BR disc, and it can't install large amount of data to the hard drive (not to mention how long it's going to take) then Blu-Ray size is useless. Data is only useful if I can get to it fast enough!
As it is ha...
@sjaakiejj:
First of all, you don't have to explain technology to me. I'm well aware of all of this as I work with it on a daily basis.
Now to the main point, since it took OnLive 7-years and then Gaikai 3-years, what do you think it will take now?
Fact of the matter is, technology moves forward and with each iteration it is far simpler. When Gaikai started, there was no nVidia Grid, so yes it makes it that much easier. Data is data,...
I was gonna say, we in the US has been enjoying the first sale doctrine that allows us to resell legally purchased software. However, this extends beyond that and now makes it illegal to prevent used game sales including digital games!
Hurrayyy for Europeans! Enjoy it!!! XD
1. The Streamer: this might actually work if they price it below $100, because by the time it releases competitors will already be discounting their devices. That said, a stripped down sub $100 PS3 probably isn't feasable. The components cost too much, as Sony is probably barely making a profit right now after the price cut at $249. I don't think there are many components they can cut out.
2. The Dreamer: People do pay for design, but history has shown us that console...
