It's not about data transfer speeds. It's about packet loss and latency. Those are the two main factors that affect online play, two things that Wi-Fi will suck at when compared to an ethernet connection.

The Switch wouldn't be nearly as exciting for me if it wasn't portable. I'd just keep buying and not finishing games on my PS4. The Switch's portable nature makes it easy for me to carve out some time to play which means that's more time playing the games I enjoy. The last long (40+ hour) game that I finished was on the Vita. Now, maybe I'll finally finish Dark souls when I get it on the Switch.

For the most part, I agree with you. I generally don't buy DLC nor do I buy micro transactions. In some cases, they're basically the same thing. Cosmetic DLC vs micro transactions, what's the difference? One is earnable in game, the other isn't.

For every "fresh" game you name, I bet I can name one on a Nintendo console. Sure the IP may be overused, but they use them in different ways for different games.
As a male, I'm not playing a game that requires me to "date" males. Women leads are fine, but with the whole "sleazy" part that typically accompanies GTA games, I would not do that as a a female. A better idea would be for them to allow you to choose your own gender.

Parents responsible for their children? Nonsense. Video games causes murders. McDonald's causes obesity. And cell phones create zombies. There is no person at fault for any of these things. Blame the tool not the user. The user is powerless beyond comprehension.
Goldeneye just needs upgraded controls. People don't use single sticks for movement and aiming anymore. That's literally the only reason it's unplayable now.
More sales does mean more support, but more support doesn't really matter if you have all the consoles to begin with. When you have all the consoles, you can just pick the best place to play.
