Nintendo gets less of a cut from physical games. Not surprising that the rewards would be less. I think Microsoft has a similar reward system. I prefer this over the non-gaming rewards Nintendo used to have.
The dreamcast has a lot of solid titles that only exist on the dreamcast. By the end of next year, you can bet that almost all of the Wii U's quality exclusives will be on the Switch.

The only Pokémon fad is Pokémon Go.
From the article :
"Like many gamers, I started young – when I was just four years old, in fact. Shit. I just realised that’s almost a quarter decade ago."
So.... The author is 6 years old?
Don't want it? Don't use it.
No, I've played Romancing Saga. Romancing Saga was not nearly as story focused as the demo I played.

"Innovative approach to player feedback"
I agree with this, and yet I enjoyed disc 1 so much that I can't help but recommend it to anyone that enjoys a solid rpg. Overall, I may put Xenogears as my favorite rpg as well. Even despite, not bothering to get through disc 2.
If this takes off, maybe developers will start releasing games with no save slots.
"Oh, you want to save? You need 5 gold orbs for a loot box where you have a 20% chance at a one time use save slot. Don't have the orbs? You can pay $1 per orb. And try as many times as you need."
@Anubis, "forced diversity" isn't about the color of a video game character's skin? Could've fooled me.
I haven't enjoyed a Kirby game since Kirby super star. The gameplay is just too bland for me. I'm actually looking forward to Yoshi.
Loot boxes are the worst thing to ever happen to gaming. Even without purchase able currency.
What's wrong with King Matter Fact uh?
Gonna get that mummy money.
Cosmetic only. I'm also okay with one of the Magic the gathering ones where you could pay to unlock the decks instead of going through single player. I think each deck was ~$2
I'm also okay with the micro transactions in Street fighter V.
That would be ant man.

Would you feel better about Sea of Thieves if instead of "micro transactions", they had paid cosmetic DLC like almost every AAA game that gets released these days?
You must be new and didn't see the pubg articles that graced our presence on a daily basis for a while.
Does Destiny have a story, a beginning, and end and can be played completely in single player?
I understand what you're saying, but what you're saying is wrong. You may have bought the game for single-player, but a lot of people bought it for the multiplayer.
