If we replaced the term "micro transactions" with "paid cosmetic DLC", does that make it better? Almost every game has "paid cosmetic DLC" these days and they are impossible to grind for since it requires money.
They made a complete single player game (unlike many other developers). What's wrong with that?
If portability is your thing, every game is better on the Switch. Can't play my PS4 games in my hand while my son is watching Thomas DVDs. Unless I resort to using a Vita but the Switch experience is far better than the Vita remote play experience.
Played the demo on both 3ds and Switch. This game is pretty bland.
Nintendo still charges full price for the original game after releasing the port to newer hardware.
Nintendo charges full price for their hardware that is no longer selling.
Nintendo charges full price during Black Friday / Cyber Monday / the run up to Christmas.
Nintendo is a poor example for how to price your products.
Microsoft bought Rare which had the best games when they bought them. How well did that go for them?
While EA is already pretty terrible, I'm sure Microsoft can find a way to make them worse.
However, I can see benefits between Steam / Xbox if it helps further their cross play efforts and possibly bring more games to xbox (and not less to Steam).
PUBG also makes sense since that's currently a console exclusive anyway.
Great game, but handheld looks immediately noticeably worse than docked, and I'm not one to complain about graphics.
Probably not but it will be the top selling game of 2019.

Owning digital copies and always online subscriptions are not the same thing. Game pass and services like it should not prevent outright purchasing a digital copy to be kept forever.
Owning digital content is not the same as always online subscriptions. Most of those negatives you listed does not apply to Steam. The best example of doing digital sales correctly.
Not a fact, that's an opinion. And a wrong opinion at that.
While Microsoft is leading Nintendo in units sold, what is inevitable is that Nintendo will surpass them and at that point, who cares what Microsoft does.
For the record, the idea of Game pass is great, but when you don't have any games. It just becomes a pass. A pass to your wallet.
I'm sure you're aware of this, but most of your physical games will be filled with bugs and other performance issues (and possible even unplayable) if you don't download those day one patches.
Graphics and performance are awful, but the gameplay itself is a lot of fun. Me and my nephew schedule large periods of time to play on our dedicated server.
I'm sure cave men grunted the same thing about electricity.
An all online future can work, but not for a very long time. Quite possibly beyond our lifetime.
Why can't you keep your collection downloaded? Did someone put a gun to your head and force you to delete it?
PS plus games do not need an internet connection to be played.
I don't understand all the outrage about Microsoft advertising its products. It's gotta take the good where it can. Not like they can say: "Plays great on Xbox, but it's the only game you'll play."
I think this is accurate. The majority of current Switch owners are probably adults between 25-35. Nintendo Labo is geared towards a far lower age range. They are probably trying to convince parents to buy their kids this instead of Thomas the Tank Engine, or Legos, MegaBloks, or any other over priced toy that involves building things. While the Labo itself is fairly priced at $70 (for those without kids, a decent Thomas track runs at close to $100), I don't think it's going to convin...
Sounds like you could've used some Nintendo in your life. Why so mad? All the people cussing out you and your mom on the internet got you down?
