Each COD outsells the last, which means people are not only happy with what they are being offered, but there are a lot of new COD people.
You don't need to change too much, anyone who thinks MW3 is the same as MW1 or MW2 is obviously ignorant and they haven't actually played MW3.
Wow, those are some great deals. The 3DS is looking sweeter and sweeter, Kinect for $99 should push a lot of those. All these companies are in for a solid Holiday.
Battlefield 3 certainly isn't running 60fps / 1080 on any consoles...lol

I have to disagree, people look at COD4 as some innovative game because it was the first COD to take you to a modern setting, where as the WWII settings were getting old and stale.
COD4 had plenty of issues with glitches and overpowered weapons, Martydon, Last Stand, Juggernaut, 3 frag, 1 hit kills with ACOG, UAV glitch, no stack-able kill streaks.
Don't get me wrong, at the time the game was solid, but people remember it way more fond...
Where was all the "day one buys" at? I love N4G, the hypocrisy site to end all sites. All I heard was how BF3 was going to take a huge piece of the COD pie and how it was at the very least, going to be the better rated or reviewed game. It's ended up neither.
I wasn't fooled by EA in the least, now BF3 can slide farther into mediocrity.
They are Nintendo, who thought the Wii would take them back to number 1? Everyone thought the 3DS was doomed. The Wii U will be fine, there isn't going to be a huge graphical leap next generation, so they will be right there with everyone else.
The only one controller per Wii U is also not confirmed, more news recently suggests it can use more then one.
I'm telling you right now, there are a ton of people wanting a new console, new consoles are alway...
If they change too much they risk upsetting millions upon millions of people, I think they do a good job with how they do things now, baby steps, keep the gameplay tight, the controls tight and work on getting things like lobby's straightened out.
I think you meant frosting? The idea behind remakes are to remake them without changing the classic gameplay elements. This is by far the best looking remake I've seen, nobody can deny that they would much rather have this level of quality and time invested in a remake then what is currently the norm.
I am not a person who buys remakes, but I've had this one pre-ordered for a while now, I am really looking forward to playing through the game that made me buy an Xbox 1...
If all the remakes were actually remade like this instead of the cheap upconverting they are currently getting, then I'd definitely buy more. This looks to be the definitive remake. Loving how it looks.
You realize PSN is a lot of multiple accounts right? They also count PSP names. XBL definitely has more users, which is why they have so many active games for a lot longer time. I think Black Ops last year had 3 million concurrent users and MW3 has something like 5 million. That's with MW2, Black Ops, Halo Reach, Battlefield 3 and Gears Of War 3 running hundreds of thousands on it as well.

Impressive, most impressive. When I first used XBL back in 2003 I knew it was something special. Definitely worth the price if your looking for a premium quality online membership.
I will go out on a limb and say Sledgehammer Games have done the best job on a Modern Warfare game to date. Easily my favorite in the series. The campaign is the longest COD campaign and by far the funnest.
Hope these guys stick with whats working.
I always knew it would be on the Xbox 360, but I also think it will be on the next Xbox as well. Sort of like Twilight Princess. It seems to me that launching a new Xbox console would require a Halo title.
That's great. Definitely have to watch that, seems to be I can only enjoy the originators anymore these days. The Simpsons will always be the best.
The MW3 issues weren't nearly as bad as the Battlefield 3 ones. Also, I'd like to point out that you have literally millions of people on the COD games, Battlefield I think had slightly over 100k on XBL, so there is a lot of strain and a lot of people to discover issues.

The only exclusive in this list is Skyward Sword, looks like Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 are getting left off a lot of tables, Interesting.
I haven't played Skyward Sword..obviously..but I like what Skyrim is showing me thus far, I really liked Arkham City though, so I think it's a tough call.
I already have a PS3, I like the 3DS and have friends who own them, I think there pretty cool and the new Mario game looks amazing.
