Only due to Steam Works, nothing separated the two console versions aside from that.
I have to disagree, it was the best at the time, but is very outdated and the game had a ton of flaws that were never fixed.
M-16 with it's 1 hit kills, 3 frag, martydom, last stand, acog glitch, UAV glitch. That game was always a grenade spam of explosions and idiots running around with acog sniper rifles.
MW3 for me is the most balanced and best of the bunch, but to each their own.
It is good to see so many COD games on the list.
I said MW3 had the longest campaign of the series and it does, it took me almost 12 hours to finish it on Veteran, that's long to me. Especially considering that it took me less time to finish games like Gears 3 and Uncharted 3.
Nice attempt to peg me kiddo, but just because I stick up for COD and like the games doesn't make me a troll.
Some of those games just came out, some will sell better during the Holiday season, it's been a busy year for a lot of great games.
Microsoft wont drop Kinect support on anything, games to make on Kinect are super cheap and turn easy profits. I personally have 4 of the 6 games you mentioned, Kinect Sports 2, Gunstringer, Dance Central and Rise Of Nightmares are all great fun with the Kinect.
Also, I'd like to point out that no true numbers have been...
I hope they do both, I really love their work on MW3, it's my favorite of the series. Longest campaign and addicting, fairly balanced multiplayer. They are also doing a great job post launch to fix the minor problems.
I would have loved to see that 3rs person COD game, I think it could have been a good game.
I'm sure for some kids and younger people it will be. Your sarcasm isn't lost on me, but this is a solid score whether you like Kinect or not.
This year has seen some really good Kinect titles and I'm happy to see it continue it's mass appeal towards every kind of gamer.
Another article on how MW3 slaps BF3, not surprised. MW3 is quality, quantity and fun all rolled into one, I like most people forgot BF3 even released......
I love his confidence! I cannot wait to pop in Skyward Sword, it's getting amazing reviews and could very well be the first complete masterpiece since OOT, which most people actually consider to be one of the, if not THE BEST game of all time.
To be honest, I could give two craps less about destructible environments,I also actually avoid games with vehicles. Unique weapons is a staple of the COD series, MW3 has the most choices per weapon to customize out of any game I've ever played.
When you say BF3 is "hands down better", what exactly are you basing that on? probably just your own personal opinion seeing as how sales and scores indicate MW3 is the clear winner in both quality and quantity.
I'm not surprised, MW3 is the superior game. Sales and reviews don't lie. Also the 3+ million people on MW3 on Xbox Live is a pretty good indicator, though Battlefield 3 had an impressive 60k the other day /s
I don't think any sequel to a sequel deserves GOTY honors. I personally think Skyrim will win, but Batman Arkham City was stellar as well. Cant forget Zelda Skyward Sword either.
You don't have to dumb anything down to make it multiplatform this generation, just put it on a couple of disks for Xbox 360. No biggie to the people who play on the 360 on a normal basis, I'd rather swap a disk then do the 5 minute waits per level install like on MGS4.
I suspect with Rising coming out in 2012, this new Metal Gear game is years away and will be on next generation consoles.
Personally I think Metal Gear peaked with MGS3, I wasn't a fan of part 4 and I think they painted themselves in a bad corner with that whole story.
I wont crap on what other people like though, this is probably years away and most likely going to be on next generation consoles.
It's not as bad as people make it out.
Yes, a perk that deprives developers out of money. Everyone shares their maps with other people on PSN, it's just a fact. That is why so many people are upset, plain and simple.
You know what I find funny? PS3 owners and especially N4G flipped out when the PS3 was hacked, people who shared games were the "devil". Now I know it might not be all it's used for, but in my experience on PSN EVERYONE shares map packs from games with this exploit.
It takes away from the developers more so then even used games, so in that way I'm glad to see it go.
Get a job, buy your own map packs and get over it.
I have a PS3, just prefer to game on my 360. I think this is probably next generation material anyway, so who knows? I definitely don't think disk space will be an issue on any console.
Also, I'd like to point out that MGS has never been a Sony exclusive, it's been on a variety of different consoles.
Hopefully this sticks with the current trend of Metal Gear games on Xbox 360. I have a PS3 as well, but prefer using my Xbox 360, so hopefully it's multiplatform like Rising and the HD collection.
Nope, PS4 in 2013. Probably late in 2013, while Microsoft and Nintendo will release new consoles late 2012.
Glad I got the Xbox 360 version :)
Those of you who cant play it are missing out on one of the best games I've ever played. Hope you get things worked out.
