I'm not a fanboy and I never said this was a hack, but PSN has been down an awful lot this year and it's not been their best year as far as service goes.
Not sure why everyone gets so bent out of shape when someone says something constructive.
2011 has not been a banner year for PSN.

Every game has issues, that's why we have patches, even your favorite PS3 exclusives have bugs, the only reason people are flipping out is because it's COD. Get over it.
Boo hoo, seriously, every game has post launch issues, did you complain about all the BF3 issues? or is it simply because this is COD?

I loved Halo CEA! Really took me back, what I was most surprised about was how great the game looks now, and a bit surprised at how many enemies came at you at one time, I remember some games on PS2 and Gamecube that had maybe 3, 4 or 5 enemies tops on the screen at once, this game throws dozens at you.
Excellent job at getting me pumped up to play as the Master Chief yet again in Halo 4!
Every single one I posted could only be played on the Xbox. I don't feel the need to say console exclusive. 6 on the list are ip's owned by Microsoft, that would be the majority.
I don't think these articles or the numerous glitches are going to be what costs Uncharted 3 GOTY, it's the fact that there were actually better games this year, unlike when UC2 released when there clearly wasn't.
For me personally it's worth it to get the consoles at launch, I usually buy the extended warranty anyway, so your covered for years. Why skimp when it comes to new hardware?
The fact that the consoles don't live up to potential for the first year or two is annoying, but there is always something to play.

Gamebreaking? probably not, annoying? most definitely. I encountered bugs on UC2 and at least one of these, anytime you have to reload a save because of a bug then it's annoying.
I just think it further points to the fact that there is no such thing as a perfect game.
Well a good start would be acting like MGS4 was just a dream or something, they really painted themselves in a corner with that horrible story.
I know I'll get disagrees and that's fine, but of all the MG games, MGS4 was my least favorite, it didn't really feel like the others, which was a shame because that was my all time favorite series of all time, I still play Twin Snakes on my GCN and I bought the HD Collection, which is wonderful.
I still have my old Gamecube, it was great and I will say it helped pave the way for console to portable connectivity and also paved the way for wireless controllers, those Wavebird controllers were tight.
In the end though, the lack of online enabled games makes me pick the original Xbox as my favorite console last generation. I still love the GCN though.
Yes, and they only made like 200 premium cars. There was such negative feedback over this, that I doubt they rush and do the same thing again.
That's just my guess, those guys don't work fast.
Let's just do some match here, GT5 came out in 2010, if it takes another 5-6 years to create another one then your looking at 2015/2016, that would probably be a year or so into the PS4 cycle.

Nope, it's a sign that there are a ton of other great games that came out around the same time. It's not that far off from previous Forza games and I'm sure it will pick up and end up with the same sales or higher then Forza 3.
I didn't buy Forza 3 until the Platinum Edition came out a year later, it came with a ton of extra content. Over a million units is hardly a small amount by any means. Great starting point for sure.
This is stupid, you can be a real gamer and not own a PS3 or a 360, those are just preference.
Maybe they can work on their object physics on U4? Not a horrible thing, but I can see it being kind of annoying when your losing yourself in a game like that.
Agreed, I actually don't know a single person with the service or that actually give a crap about it.
I am sure it's decent if that is all you can get, but I'll take my consoles and physical media any day of the week.
