Tech wise Battlefield 3 did what now? Last I checked Battlefield 3 was almost broken at launch and unplayable on consoles.

I cant speak for PC because I could care less about gaming on PC or the people that freak out over PC gaming.

Now MW3 looks beautiful, offers full, fluid 60fps, full party chat to your whole team, new weapons, perks, killstreaks, game modes and more. It's a stellar game from top to bottom.

Just because it's not yo...

COD Elite is a free stat tracking service. You can also make free high def videos of your gameplay and upload them to Youtube.

The paid Elite is actually more like a Season Pass, which was out long before Activision released Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

It's also completely optional. Who here didn't actually think MW3 was going to outdo the last COD game? They have been gaining in popularity like clockwork.

Congrats to all involved...

It's definitely a fad, look at how many times 3-D has come and gone, it dates back to the 1950's and each time it comes back "new and improved" only to disappear again.

The reason HDTV wasn't a fad was because it was something that didn't require glasses for, it was something that pretty much everyone from the youngest child to the oldest grandparent could enjoy, even people with only one eye, like my mother.

Where as 3-D is more of ...

The best American sport is now in league with the best American console. Congratulations!

What in the world did they need to change? The game looks beautiful, runs at a fluid 60fps and has the most addicting online of any game.

They added new game modes, Kill Confirmed is the busiest game modes of all right now. They added to Spec Ops, which was added new in the last Modern Warfare game, but now it's simply a lot more stream line and fun.

They took out a lot of the unbalanced perks, weapons and streaks. No more OMA, Danger Close or overpowered...

Butthurt Battlefield 3 fanboys is the real reason. They were mad that MW3 was going to get the better scores so they decided to take a childish route.

The user scores don't even try to seem legit either, anytime someone says it's the same game as COD4 or MW2 or says it's a 3 hour campaign, those are tell tale signs it's not a legit review.

And what operating system ran on the Dreamcast? That's right, Windows. Microsoft learned the in's and out's of consoles by working with Sega.

Technically there were other ways to play online for a long time before the Dreamcast, but Microsoft perfected it.

We can also thank there innovations like HD graphics, which was a huge step towards what we now have, same with HDD.

Couldn't agree more, seems like I'm not even close to where I want to be on Gears 3, Forza 4, MW3, Skyrim or Batman Arkham City...

I'm usually so tired from work I crash right away for a bit.

No way does Sony release a new console next year. They have too many games currently coming out and slated to come out next year. They are launching a handheld next year and I doubt they will want to lose a bunch of money on both that and a new console in the same fiscal year.

I think Holiday 2013 is more likely for them, Sony wanted this generation to drag on for as long as possible, they probably held out hopes of catching up to Microsoft and Nintendo.

I...

Xbox 720 and Wii U will be released in 2012, PS4 in 2013. Only one company switching it's focus for Sony is a solid indication that they will be a year late to the party just like this current generation.

Not saying it's a bad thing, but it's been obvious to me for a while that Microsoft and Nintendo were switching their focus, most people assumed Microsoft switched focus to Kinect, when in actuality they were focused on the next Xbox. I'm sure it will work wi...

I feel a bit trolled after reading this article. The whole idea behind this was to give a new coat of paint to an old house. The game is supposed to play just like Halo CE originally did, and it does just that.

It's beautiful to look at, but you can tell it's based off an old engine that was made 12-14 years ago, before they started doing motion capture for video games.

Also, in actuality 343 oversaw Halo CEA, probably means they had a person or two ...

Oh hell yea, I have had a Xbox 360 since 2005 when they launched. I am also happy to say that 90% of the games I own were bought new. I believe in supporting developers, but I will also defend the right to buy used.

I remember when I went into a Gamestop to buy Alan Wake and this was a couple of months after it was released, they tried to sell me a used copy that was only $3 cheaper then the new one. I told them no thanks, I wanted to support the developer on this one. They ...

You are trying to guess my friend. I know a lot of people who like video games but don't have internet connections. Believe it or not, they exist.

I personally don't have the type of connection built for downloading anything, let alone huge files. When a game releases I want to be able to go pick it up and come home and play it, not wait two days to download it and hope I don't go over my bandwidth limit.

Of course it has. XBL was my first high speed internet action. I remember playing on dial up on the Dreamcast, but when I played on XBL for the first time I knew I was hooked.

For me, the Xbox was the first home console to really let you enjoy massive RPG's like Jade Empire and KOTOR while sitting on your recliner or sofa. Same type of deal with FPS games, Halo to me was huge! I remember setting up LAN Party's and just having a blast with that, you didn't need to ...

This is just a BS rumor, obviously if you look at the stats, almost 60 million Xbox 360's sold and only 35 million are XBL users, which means almost half probably don't even have a internet connection.

There are many IPS, especially in the states that put a cap on your downloads per month, some people just flat out have bad speed to begin with.

You would alienate all of those people if you went digital only, not only that, but I think we all seen wha...

Console makers usually are willing to take a loss, people complaining about the memory need to realize these are consoles, they don't have to run OS, so 2 gigs should be more then enough.

Excited to hear more about this.

Well there was rumors that one disk would be the campaign and the second disk would be the multiplayer like ODST. The maps you download are only 1.5 gigs, so they did a good job fitting everything in.

As a owner of around 155 Xbox 360 physical games, I'd say maybe 8 of those that I own are multiple disk, which isn't very much. It's kind of a non issue.

The MW3 plot was far better and much better executed then Battlefield 3. Also, the campaign on normal on MW3 is around 7.5 hours. I've done it now on normal and I'm finishing it on Veteran right now, I'm at around the 11 hour mark.

Call Of Duty is much more then a game, it's something that everyone loves, maybe not the N4G crowd, but N4G is the major minority..Thank god..

Otherwise we'd all be playing really bad games and watching soccer ins...

They should have added a few more, like how could they forget the whole removal of backwards compatibility? For me that was the biggest off putting issue I had with the PS3.

Cant forget about the whole "Sony isn't into gimmicks" speech, where they were making fun of Nintendo and how "They were too old for lollipops".

I think those two should definitely be on there.
