BF3 had a decent couple of weeks, MW3 will remain in the top 10 for the next year. Just like Black Ops did this past year.
What else is new? COD has always gotten the better review scores and has always sold better.
It's one of the rare cases where a game wins both quality and quantity.
That is a long article. I remember buying my original Xbox 10 years ago and was blown away by it. Who would have even thought about HD graphics 10 years ago? or a HDD? Microsoft was on top of the ball.
The biggest thing that they perfected was Xbox Live, clearly that is what people care most about. You need that amazing online experience and only XBL does that flawlessly on consoles.

Seems like solid specs to me, we will probably have to wait only a few months to find out for sure. I do think it's time for a new console though, Microsoft please take my money! SHOW ME THE CONSOLE!
Sure, I mean who hasn't played a social game here or there? Even PSN Home is a social game, so I'm not sure why people here are acting so absurd about social games.
There are far more casual gamers then core, if there is even such a thing as a core gamer. They are all just video games, hard to imagine pushing buttons on one game is more hardcore then another...lol
I guess if you wear a sweatband, have your Gatorade nearby then you might be hardcore.....
Are you kidding me ? Halo was the graphical powerhouse back in 2001. Oh how people forget that the original Xbox was so much more powerful then anything else on the market. Halo was beautiful, no other game had environments that green and lush, it was amazing!
This remake has really flooded me with great nostalgia.

Since when is a game that scores a 89 on Metacritic mediocre? MW3 is the best in that series IMHO.

Get over it man, MW3 is clearly the better game and clearly has the less issues. Read a review by any legit reviewer and you'll see it's not the same old thing.

You must be thinking of some HD remake on PS3 man, this is a completely new engine that overlaps the old game and you can push a button at any time to see the difference.
This is hands down going to be the best selling remake of all time. People have to keep in mind that unlike a lot of other remakes that we are seeing, Halo was made 10 years ago, that's like a lifetime ago. I think people are used to games like God Of War or Prince Of Persia that aren't even that old...

Finally a decent console review of Battlefield 3.
I loved the God Of War parody, you can tell they were actually gamers because they poke fun of how easy the game was.
The Simpsons aren't dying, they might not have the same effect now days because they have already done everything, now other shows copy them.
Also, people always try to compare new episodes to classic ones that they remember fondly, nothing can compare to the first time you watched the Simpsons, it's dumb to compare. The Simpsons are still the best animated show on television IMHO.
COD4 was okay, but MW3 is the best in the series in my opinion. It's a complete game. How has Battlefield had a more dedicated fan base? The Battlefield games don't stay on the top 20 list for the whole year, the Battlefield games don't sport over 1 million unique players at a time.
You might want to check the scores on Metacritic. COD4 outdid Bad Company 1, MW2 outdid Bad Company 2 and MW3 has outdone Battlefield 3. So I don't think I'm talking out of any...
