Oh wow, so a developer saying they will support the game for a long time and people still complain?
It is just strange that it seems like you care about whether you get a trophy but not if the game is fun or not.

Disagree, it depends on how fun the game is. If your goal is just to play as many games as possible then might as well ask all games to be 1 hour long.
As long as it is fun and not artificially long (like random meaningless question marks in AC series), then it can be as long as it needs.
Let's continue to attack a game from a company that had a good record for supporting their game after 7 years. If they say, 20 hours, you say the rest are all filler crap, if they say more then you say you don't have the time for it.
Let's hope all these companies close down, then everyone can enjoy free to play games and grind 20 hours just for a pair for bunny ears. /s

I would love BC, but if and only if it doesn't limit the new product in any way, if I am paying $400-500+ for PSVR2 and all I care is if it runs last gen games, they have a different problem that they need to worry about.

It is not a good news, Ubisoft starting another subscription means their games now will less likely to appear in Gamepass regularly. And eventually more studios would do the same, just like the movies/shows industry, Disney started Disney+, and then they pulled their content from Netflix...etc, before you know it, all publishers will have their own subscription services, if Square Enix starts one, you wouldn't see Outrider 2 in Gamepass, it is that simple.
Started my gamepass subscription in Black Friday, bought 3 years of Xbox live to convert, got an Xbox series x after trading in my PS4 pro in a recent deal (already has PS5 since day 1)... but honestly it has been very disappointing so far. With MP portion being free to play, it is very hard to justify the price for just the campaign, I still think open world is a wrong choice for Halo, the scale of the game is much smaller this time around because you are stuffed in a tiny map. All main missions happens in cave makes the open world pretty pointless too.
The lacking of co-op right off the bat, which makes that more like an after thought too.
Tired of this $100 is a lot of money argument, if $100 is a lot of money, then don't spend $300 on a gaming machine.
And if it is really a lot of money, then more of a reason to spend them wisely, on something that give you a lot more back per dollar (PS5 DE), or something that last you much longer (PS5 or XBox Series X).
The question is how much can you sell it for? Maybe it can be a full time job for some people.

I don't get it, with that theory, all future Xbox games can be just subpar and that would be good enough because of gamepass? XBox future is dim if that is their strategy.
It is not hard, just need to buy a studio right before they release a game, then you can say you produced a lot.
