I have XBox Series X and 3 years of gamepass (started last Nov), finished Psychonaut 2 (very good platformer), half way through Gears 5 (the open area in Act 2, was playing with my brother but was very buggy, and likely won't pick it up again, the pacing was weird, getting bored), Halo Infinite (waiting for co-op campaign, still shocked that is not available at launch, and the MP is lacking contents, players are leaving already), Forza Horizon 5 (no doubt it is good, installed too, but no...
How about release some good games first?
I welcome both, for single players, just from from first party alone we have Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok, Spidermen 2, Wolverine, I am sure naughty dog is working on a single player game on top of the fiction MP game too.
If some good online games can help keep PlayStation's cash flow more healthy, then so be it, whatever keeps the ship afloat for my single player experiences.
It works out for them, you can't play for a while after you painted your nails, which give them more time to develop.
Never liked the idea of Amiibo, but that is infinitely more attractive than buying nail polish for in game items.
I think also with the chips shortage, no one wants to release new hardwares as they wouldn't be able to make enough for the demands.
With that said, the hardware of Switch was outdated the second it was announced, I really want a powerful Nintendo console for a change, which haven't happened since Game Cube.
Oh, that "PC this, PC that" guy again.
@alb1899
You are trying so hard to justify the 68 billions purchase.
By your logic, Candy Crush is a better game than Halo.

Talk about bad at critical thinking, NFT doesnt change anything, as long as there are physical, what does this change? And if they could eliminate physical, they would have done that, why would they want gamers to sell games to each other and only earns a few bucks each time?
So there are only 2 scenarios.
1) People still trade games physically, NFT doesn't change a thing
2) The game industry so...
I have XBox Series X and Gamepass, and I haven't even downloaded Halo Infinite, not planing to play it, it looks extremely boring to be honest.
The last game I played on my XBox was Psychonauts 2, and next game would be Ori (never played then before).
Pre-ordered Horizon Forbidden West Collector's Edition, can't wait.
But the thing is, developers have no incentive to do that, using your example, player A wants to play the game, so he paid $60, now player B wants to play the game too, do you think a game company would want player B to buy from player A, so they earn $4, or buy from them so they earn $60?
Just FYI, this is what PS Plus got in Jan
- Deep Rock Galactic (PS4 and PS5)
- Dirt 5 (PS4 and PS5)
- Persona 5 Strikers (PS4)
I think I will play Horizon first, likely to be the shortest, then Elden Ring, and then Dying Light for the long term supports...
I keep changing my mind though, so hard to decide...
Not to start a war here, just we have been hearing how they are a 2 trillions company, why give these craps to Live Gold subscribers? I know they want to push people to Gamepass but this is a little ridiculous.
I personally don't like trophies, it just spoils too many things in general.
I understand this upgrade is more than just a simple patch, but I wish they can give players a free 60fps patch if that's all they are looking for.
And then put all other enhancements in the remaster package. How you get both game for $10 more is good value for people who owned only one of the two games for sure.
I think "not optimized" gives the illusion that it is a very demanding game, all games studio can crank up the settings of their games so no PC can runs it well. The trick is to still looks exceptional on an average machine.
They can totally hire people without announcing the game. Many of these games might not even get to the finish line, I don't see the point of announcing it now.
I feel like this game is announced 5-6 years too early, I don't get what they would want to do that. These is more of an hiring ad than a game announcement.
You mean the "Halo Unfinished"? The one missing co-op campaign, and MP lacking contents that people are leaving already?
Last year they have 2 good games, Forza Horizon 5, and Psychonauts 2.
One day when games from XBox is as high quality as PS's, I would praise it all the same.
I have XSX and Gamepass, just unlike you, I actually want more contents on consoles I own. If you are happy with the output, be my guest, looks li...
