Reminds me of the game at this URL: http://www.bullshitbingo.ne...
I tried refreshing a few times but I did not see the word "passion". I do think it should be added if it isn't already.
Start bringing out games like the above and it going to be harder for me to put off buying a PS4 although I would like to finish the backlog of PS3 games that I have.
About two months ago I started replaying DQ 8 on my BC PS3 and it still brings back fond memories.
I have the original PS2 version of DQ 8 and on a BC PS3 it displays quite well on my 55" HDTV so a remaster at least for me is a no buy.
However for people who have not played the game and like classic turn based RPG's with an interesting story this is a really good game.
Well it depends on what type of games you like and their install size as well as the choice of a digital download or media install.
Choosing digital download is maybe convenient but you are dependent on your internet connection while physical media is dependent on your BD reader which in the majority of cases is much faster than an internet connection. Basically it's your choice, your money and your time.
What on earth would you use a 2TB disk on a PS3 for unless it was to put on ripped movies. Streaming would be a much better solution. I have a 160GB PS3 and an original 60GB BC PS3 and well over 100 games and have never filled up my disks.
I won't deny that there are some games that do install many GB onto the disk but I don't have them nor am I interested in playing them.
Even though I don't have a PS4 yet for a variety of reasons and cost is no...
While I do agree with the basics of what you said you have got the wording wrong.
Please learn the difference between the words "hackers" and "crackers". The so called IT journalists have been getting it wrong for well over 25 years.
The people you hate are actually called "crackers" (think safe-cracker) and are the ones who try to break into computing systems. "Hacking" is not a crime and no sane government would make ...
The original Metal Gear and Final Fantasy came out on the NES. For those into nostalgia you can cough! cough! get the roms and play them on a PC emulator or you can dust off your NES and play the cartridges.
It is not a matter of owning all consoles or even having a top of the line gaming PC to me it finding the time to play the games I like.
Basically the PC has the better gaming solution if you are into gaming on a PC, however some people prefer gaming on consoles while millions enjoy gaming on hand-helds and smart phones. It all boils down to gamer preference and the time they can devote to playing games.
Personally I like Action/Adventure and RPG's (actio...
Sounds like you like action/adventure and RPG's so the PS4 would be more attractive. Personally I wasn't a fan of Killzone or Infamous either.
Halo contrary to the hype is really an FPS and Gears is a tactical shooter. That said if you like those types of games then the XBox is for you although you can get FPS's and T/S games for the PlayStation as well.
If you are unsure and you have the money get both consoles although since you have a PC (I ass...
I agree, you are definitely entitled to you opinion and there is nothing wrong with disliking since RPG's in many ways are not as popular as FPS's, Tactical Shooters, Sports, Fighting and Racing games for a variety of reasons.
Personally I do like RPG's and Action/Adventure games however I can be fairly picky even within those categories.
No need to shout. I also like most JRPG's and Action/Adventure games although I am not that keen on just Fighting games unless they have an RPG component such as Tales of Xilla which is one of the few games that almost gave me RSI. I actually had to put off playing this game for a few weeks.
The problem if you can call it a problem with RPG's in general is that they normally take such a long time to play so you can only play a few of these games per year. Most RPG'...
Not really I waited and got the games second hand and I am glad I did. Only two of those games I liked, the first being Star Ocean and eventually Oblivion.
The reason why I say "eventually" for Oblivion was that first time I played I got my choices wrong and basically the game just got harder and harder to play. Once I realised that you have to build your important attributes by making them level-up independent and make sure you level up very slowly the game was rea...
For the first year BC on the PS3 was a well used feature until the PS3 library was built up. Of course it was rather useless for gamer's who had to have the latest "shiny".
I still play PS2 games on my PS3 and they do look quite nice on my HDTV however graphically they aren't as good as a PS3 game. This is not to say all PS3 games are better than PS2 games since to me game-play and enjoyment is much more important than graphics and the PS2 did have some very...
I have never played this game, however from all the reviews I have seen, none have stated that this game is overrated.
I really like Action/Adventure games especially those that have RPG content however I have never been that keen on what is commonly called "Post Apocalyptic" which is basically one of the categories that TLOU, Fallout and Bioshock fit into. Except for the original Resident Evil games which were "Survival Horror" and I enjoyed them immense...
Not many PS4 owners are going to buy an XBox1 just to play ROTTR since they will have Fallout 4 and even the remastered Uncharted series, then in about six months Uncharted 4.
The Tomb Raider franchise has always been Action/Adventure although the first few emphasised adventure more than action. Uncharted from get go was mainly action so in many ways the two franchises complimented each other.

You are quite right since you only ...
I got Bioshock for the PS3 and only managed to play it for a few hours since I could not get interested in the game even though I normally like Action/Adventure RPG's. Still the price was ok as I got it cheap second hand so I didn't feel I got cheated.
Fortunately at that time I did have plenty of other games to play that IMHO were much more fun and these include PS2 games as well.
I don't know where you got 80 hours from unless you accidentally added on the "0" by mistake.
The WiiU's battery life is between 3 and 5 hours unless you put in the high capacity battery, in which case you may get around 8 hours. A quick search will give you approx 3.5 million hits on that subject.
Compared to the Dual Shock 4 the WiiU remote battery life is shorter by 2 to 3 hours however you can change the DS4's battery and void your w...
Actually the Wii controller was a great one for destroying HDTV's. Do a search for "wii remote destroys tv" and you will get over 180,000 hits. Of course Nintendo realised fairly quickly and suggested a wrist strap and all new Wii consoles then started to ship with the strap.
The problem today people are still destroying their TV's by forgetting or just can't be bothered to put the strap on. Only a few weeks ago one of my neighbors had her HDTV destroyed...
@stevehyphen
> Xbox One volume: 7216.72cm³
> PS4 volume: 4445.38cm³
You are quite correct except you forgot about the Kinect which is approx 1101 cm³ and lastly the power brick (approx 1101 cm³) which most people conveniently forget about.
So taking the above into account the PS4 is approximately 49.8% smaller in volume. Oh I did not take into account the power cables but since they are almost identical why...
@stragomccloud
True DDR5 does not exist, the PS4's memory is 8GB 256bit GDDR5 which has a bandwidth of 176GB/sec.
Basically GDDR5 is an abbreviation for double data rate type five synchronous graphics random access memory.
