Vape pens are usually the last resort of quitting tobacco addiction. The problem you do get especially in light of the recent deaths of six people in the US due (not really proven conclusively) to vaping is that many more people die of tobacco-related diseases so let's be fair why don't we ban tobacco as well?

Oh, wait! The tobacco industry lobbies have donated a lot of money to the appropriate lawmakers. 2342d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

I got to the end of the first part of the demo and then talked to Davis to start the "Depths" map and promptly got killed by the two giants (oops). Oh well, I better explore and level up my weapons and attributes before facing those two again.

Getting a new stage for this demo is excellent although I have no interest in carrying over my characters to the full game since I am quite happy to start again. Of course, some people will prefer to export their characters ...

I have just started playing The Surge and IMHO it is very Souls-like but with a SciFi feel. Dying a lot and loving it. 😎

Just like the Souls/Borne games, it pays to be quick on your feet. Slugging it out is a sure way to get killed especially if the humans?? or robots are heavily armoured.

The last update for The Witcher 3 (PS4) was in the 31st Dec 2018 so it is quite likely that there won't be any more updates. Of course, this may not be the case for TW3 on the Switch however the size of the game is approx 45GB (about a 31GB download) for the main game and 70GB with both DLC installed so obviously it will not fit on the Switch's internal storage.

Still, the game IMHO is excellent although it would be best played on a large screen so you don't get...

If you look at the patent pictures the "bent" joy-cons will attach to the actual Switch in the "bent" condition (see "joy-con-patent-7 and 8). The actually part which connects to the Switch is rotatable such that it will mate properly with the sides but the controller will remain bent. See image 22 and 23 of the actual patent.

For those that are technically minded and are keen on reading patents (ie. masochists 😎), you can look at the full ...

Because the PS5 will have backwards compatibility with PS4 games it is highly likely that a PS5 game will be able to be played on the PS4 although with reduced visuals and effects. After all, this is the case with PC games today.

Even today if a game supports HDR and you have a TV/Monitor that supports HDR then any PS4 should display those games with HDR enabled. Sure it may be possible that the game outputs in 1080p but a "decent" HDR 4K TV or monitor will upsca...

I agree but I do have a huge backlog that I might never get to play these games. Still, I will put them in my library just in case.

The pixels are smaller in the "Lite" when compared to pixels in the slightly larger screen of the standard "Switch" so to the human eye the image appears slightly crisper. The actual screen resolution for both Switch's is identical (ie. 720p). Of course, you could contrast this to some similarly priced mobile phones that have HD (1080p) screens and a 720p screen comes out as sub-par.

It must be noted that I am only comparing screen resolution, not ga...

The Witcher 3 and all DLC is a little over 70GB so you do need to be aware of your internal storage availability (ie. PS4, XB1 and PC).

Playing on the hardest difficulty and forcing yourself to never reduce the difficulty (it is tempting at times) IMHO makes the game so much more interesting since you are basically forced to make use of crafting for potions, oils, spells, armour and weapons. You also have to be much more strategic in what enemies you can face and when, sinc...

The game "Control" is for the PS4, XB1 and PC while "Astral Chain" is for the Nintendo Switch so the choice is rather restricted to which platform(s) you have. Of course, the actual choice of purchase is also dependent on the player's preference in games.

I have not played "A Plague Tale" yet, but it is definitely on my "to do" list especially after seeing Jim Sterling's (Jimpressions) 15-minute playthrough. https://www.youtube.com/wat...

It looks like the PS5 is on track for release in the 2020 Holiday Season if Sony is going to unveil the console and I would assume the controller in Feb 2020.

From the article, they state that the PS5 will have an incredibly fast SSD but what is also important is the capacity of the SSD and no matter the capacity there will be plenty of players who will want more. Fortunately, SSD's have dramatically dropped in price such that you can purchase a 1TB SSB for around US$10...

While you can grind in all the Souls games I found that is well worth spending two to four hours getting to feel comfortable with the mechanics of the game. Of course, this means some "grinding" in the first few hours but once get confidence then you can really progress in the game without a need to grind.

IMHO Dark Souls II (runs a 60 fps) has one of the best "hand-holding" tutorials although you still can die very easily if you try to take on enemies t...

If you don't like Dungeon and Dragon-type games then ignore my post.

When the "free" game Neverwinter came out I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised tho find that while you can grind if you really want, there is no actual need to since the game up to level 60 is (again my opinion) has quite a nice pacing and you can easily play this game by yourself or with friends.

Of course, games like Neverwinter being free has plenty of DLC which ...

Persona 5 is on my "to-do list' however, it is quite impressive to play a game that runs at 60 fps (eg. Dark Souls II) even if the graphics are only 1080p and no HDR.

Since all PS4's do support HDR if implemented by the game (eg. Horizon Zero Dawn) the output can be impressive when your PS4 is connected to a 4K HDR TV/monitor. Even if the graphics (eg. standard PS4) is only 1080p. 2375d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

By blaming games the politicians are using the classic "negative whataboutism" which is a deflection from what the real issue and like it or not is the fact that powerful guns in the hands of killers will result in a huge number of casualties.

To give an example consider the Dayton Ohio shooting which resulted in 9 dead (10 if you count the shooter) and 27 wounded in the space of 30 seconds. Would that carnage have happened if the shooter had just a bolt action h...
