You must not know how each sports gets down LOL for the last few NBA Live & Madden titles on PS2 they were doing the same exact thing.
Yeah its basically a PS2 port with slightly better graphics. Hopefully they shift their focus to Wii U when it comes to sports titles from here on out.
I don't see an issue with it not being a stealth game. Mario isn't always a platformer and Forza isn't always a racing simulator. The issue could be that it isn't a spin-off series but either way if the game is fantastic, which it very well could be, then that's all that matters to me but I can see why long-time fans of the series could be upset.
I'm not liking the whole "lets make an action movie" notion that most games are taking this Gen....
by that logic the PS3 was a failure compared to the PS2 & the vita is a failure compared to the PSP and Sony was lost. And we all know that isn't the case.

I'm with you 100% on that one. I believe Uncharted was a high quality fantastic game and I'm sure the last of us will also be a very well made game, but those games simply lack the charm of a crash bandicoot or Jak & Daxter IMO. Idk maybe I'm too impartial to games with an art style rather than realism or maybe I just miss getting new games like that on a consistent basis.

Its a videogame console, not a gaming PC. It'll never be that expensive. Sony is much smarter than that.
I personally don't care for achievements/trophies. I feel like they'd serve a better purpose if they give you something for completing said achievement.

I see where your coming from but I don't see how this would be properly ported to other systems when the main hook of the game is the gamepad functionality. True you could use Smartglass and Vita but it isn't as seamless an experience as having it all on the gamepad out of the box. So it'll have Wii U exclusive features even if it is ported because you just can't get the same experience on any other platform when it comes to this game.

Its a spiritual successor so it wont be a banjo-kazooie game. Its similar to when rare made goldeneye 007 and then lost the rights to Bond games to EA so the spiritual successor was Perfect Dark.
Crash is crazy fun no matter your age. Anyone could play crash, it had easy levels at first then it got really difficult at the end, too difficult for any child to complete unless they're really dedicated. And Idk if the 1st Jak was aimed @ an older audience, I think that fits the sequels more. Either way I've always been a fan of Naughty Dog but darn it where's my Jake 4? LOL

This is great news. Its nice to see a brand new 3d platformer possibly coming out since they were all but extinct this Gen for the most part.
I think it would've been neat to add some Mario characters to the Wii U version like they added Banjo and Kazooie in the 1st one for 360. I know Mario has his own racer but it'd be cool to see Mario and Sonic together in a game that isn't Olympic-themed.
The "tablet" controller isn't a joke. It can actually add to the gameplay experience if done right.
